I just picked up one because I have 12 XC5.0AH batteries. It's great for camping as well and charging my STIHL battery tools for my lawn maintenance business
Nice! So far it's been super handy. With the recent hurricanes and constant power outages, we tested it out as a backup for the fridge. After 4hrs it only used up one bar.
I purchased a dewalt equivalent model 2 years ago waiting for Milwaukee to make this. Dewalt subsequently released 15 amp hour batteries. Both are only a charger or inverter and do NOT allow for uninterrupted power output when connected to utility input. Both Dewalt and Milwaukee really dropped the ball on this design. They should have engineered the unit as a uninterrupted power supply beyond the charger/inverter capability. I am going to research the required modification to enable this feature to act additionally like a computer UPS. If anyone else has already done this please share.
Hard to tell but those are 4 beefy batteries. I'd expect a couple hours. But then again depends on the power draw of the light bars. Def test it on land before you go 😂
Me too, esp given the number of Ridgid batteries I have. They just released that single battery power supply (AC86097) so maybe we're starting to see the beginning of something.
you build your own and its water proof that what i doing building power station with shout off switch 20Amp and 15Amp so i have 4 switch 2 20Amp switch for my out let them 2 15Amp switch for my out let with bater meter 3000 watts pure since wave inverter 12 volt deep cycle battery 75Amp 900 watts 4 battery 900 watts 3600watts power i have witj solar charger
i wanna know how long it can run ???? 2 hrs or 8hrs to be spending 2K out the door with taxes yes it depends what u useing it for but if its anything like the Jackery limiting pretty much down to 2hrs on MAX , i will not buy it. ill stick to gas
Lots of factors. Like you said it depends on what you're powering and what battery you're loading up. Also are you using a tool continously or intermittently. One of the stronger points for this guy is that you can use it indoors
i’m guessing this unit is just to be used to power your tools that don’t remain on like a table saw and/or miter saw…when you look at the cost to change over from corded to battery powered table and miter saws, one really wins with just purchasing this power station…i think people are just in their feelings because it doesn’t do what they want it to do like power your home during a power outage, lol…just the thought of that is foolish when there are products on the market SPECIFICALLY for such…
Yea, it's designed for jobsite power delivery for locations that have yet to be wired for power. In my situation since I'm on the homeowner/DIY spectrum, for me, it's about being able to power tools at remote locations or in case of an emergency, to keep the fridge running for a couple of extra hours.
@@thehousemann i agree 1000%…remote locations for portable table/miter saws which are the only tools i have that i don’t have their cordless counterparts…as far as my fridge situation, i recently purchased a couple Delta Pros and a trifuel generator for power outages…luckily, our power lines are buried so power is out less than an hour annually
@@pharaohacura3618 same on the buried power lines to the house, but we still have issues with the main street power lines having issues and transformers blowing. We've had some narly storms this year knocking power out for 6hrs at the longest. Having a baby in the house, it's comforting to know we have at least one source of power in case we need to heat up something. The key thing I like most is the fact that you can run this unit indoors, it's not heavy, easy to store and also not have to worry about dealing with carbs, Old gas and all the joy that comes from gas generators.
Love there tools but am building power station and its water proof 3000 watts pure sine wave inverter 48V DC 110V-120V 69Hz I was testing it running heater 1500 watts 120V 60Hz 12A and Jigsaw 120V 60Hz 7A and next Jigsaw 120V 60Hz 4A so I was running three things at the same time ok I can charger my still used it ok you run two things at same time ok they build it much better ok with 25A to run it love there tools but that I have batter meter on mind next one that tell how much percent my battery is ok
