*Great lightweight screwdriver **MyBest.Tools** and the light definitely came in handy when securing our ceiling diffuser. Battery was still charged for over a month.*
Try the Makita drywall cutter, Super safe, super easy Best Reno tool ever Maxkil channel has great examples of crews using the cutout tool to its advantage, door, window openings etc. Like your channel bro
Hey man you did good with this video. if you could do a video or reply with the tools you use in general, That would be dope please. I’ve been in the solar industry for awhile installing and recently I’m going to the technician side.. I’m going to have to do drywall, so it would me much appreciated.
So what length bit goes in the collated magazine? The bits I got in the box stick out the end of the mechanism obviously too long. Or I’m missing something here.😅
Great question, I think This one is purpose built just for Gib, they also do a palm router. From what I can see you can only get one size bit in there.
I've been round the block in terms of drywall cutters and collated screw guns . In terms of performance hilti takes it but only just , a well maintained and lubricated makita collated is right there with it . In terms of bang for buck and availability of spares makita ia a winner for us in the uk . Also use the makita drywall cutter , its the same as a roughter you have to go clockwise/counterclockwise depending if your on the inside or outside of a box , window opening etc . The Milwaukee stop/start auto thing sounded really good on paper but in reality we hated it , was way too slow and underpowered compared to the others . Great video , shout out to Scott Brown for bringing me here 👍
I've got two of the makita scree guns for my guys and we've given up on them. Sick of throwing it to the ground when it inevitably gets jammed up. I was looking at the milwaukee or the dewalt but if they aren't any better then I probably won't bother!
Hey Ken, over here Gib is the main company that makes and supplys plasterboard, so by default we call it Gib... kind of like how everyone calls a adhesive bandage a "band aid" :) Thanks for watching and commenting !!!
Hey Josh, great channel, how are you still liking the collated gun attachment?? Does it also take wood or decking screws? Thanks, Adam The New Woodworker
There's nothing more annoying than having to hand-screw something together ru-vid.comUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn except for the pain in your wrist that is. This addition to my tool kit is great and I can get a lot done without all the pain and annoyance. The battery last's a long time and I have yet to run out of power when doing a small project (granted I am saying small project because I'm no construction worker). The only thing that I wish it had was an LED or pair of LEDs to indicate when it was charging and whether or not the charge was complete (or full).
Haha I am note sure if this is supposed to be a compliment or a critique... or just a simple observation? But yes Scott is the man, he has been consistantly putting out good content for a while now :)
