Looks like a nice planer. Like Eric said it will be interesting if Milwaukee expands into more wood working tools. They have been Plumbing and Electrical trades focused for the most part.

Nice stuff guys. Dewalt is actually in the pike to release a cordless planer too. Would love to see a tool fight between this and the Bosch though. Bosch has had there's out for a while and that would be an interesting tool fight.

That looks like a really nice planer. I like how Milwaukee is expanding the 18 volt line. I am with Eric I would like to see a few more tools directed at woodworking.

These portable planers are great for getting deck joists perfectly even with each other. Which is a really big issue when you're installing composite decking.

another great tool to the ever expanding Milwaukee line up...i love their 12v line, I just wish De-Walt had put even a 10th of the effort into their 12v range that Milwaukee has...great video as always guys...impressive tool

#tiacrew I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but I am a DeWalt guy, only because Milwaukee doesn't do woodworking, and I am a woodworker. However, when I was in the elevator/escalator trade, I was all Milwaukee.

I wish Milwaukee does get more into to woodworking tools the planer seems nice but it would be awesome if they made like a cordless sliding miter saw ... Now that they have them monster 9.0 batteries they prolly b the first to make a 10 incher

The Milwaukee 12" sliding compound miter saw is the shit. Best one besides the festool kapex. I've started buying all Milwaukee now. Dewalt is over priced.

+StoneysWorkshop I have just searched it and your right... Not much of a vid but it's definitely there! Can't wait! Sick of lugging my big Bosch around with a transformer just to take a little off a door. Takes longer to set up than do the job.
