M18 18-volt lithium-ion cordless 3-1/4 in. planer 

I am so happy with this M18 Planer. What's your thoughts?

Hi, I use both cordless tool line (Milwaukee and DeWalt). After testing both hand planer i purchased the Dewalt. Has more power, brushless motor with longer run time. The one thing i wish dewalt did to this planer is the two way dust extractor that milwaukee has on it's planer. That's a really nice feature to have. I hope milwaukee can make a 2nd generation of this hand planer with a brushless motor. Again i really like the two side dust extractor on the milwaukee. Also a brushless orbital sander with a better dust collection.

Its actually NOT brushless...its a BRUSHED motor...its not part of the FUEL line up.

Will it hook up to the M18 Backpack Vacuum?

cordless tools are safer and more comfortable to use, the down side they are more expensive and less powerful.

Wish it came with a dust bag and a replacement blades for the price , my ryobi came with a hard case,guide and dust bag for almost the same amount of money 💰
