All staples are "crown" staples. These are NARROW crown staples. Driven by a narrow crown stapler. Staples are made is wide range of crown sizes and wire gauges. The crown is the part of the staple that remains while the staple legs are driven into the substrate. This one drives 1/4 inch or 6mm crown staples made from 18ga wire. Staples compared to brads have much more holding power as they won't pull through the affixed piece nearly as easily. When driving them into wood, always try to orient the crown perpendicular to the grain of the wood for maximum pull through resistance.

The new fuel batteries all go loose where they clip into tool, sparky was spewing the other week drill, impact driver and circular saw shaking it to get it to work swapping full batteries that come up as empty. For the few corners I have to put in I might be using the brad/stapler looks better than nails or screws. Tight top and bottom unless your next to kitchen cabinets etc. better than Bowes skirting. Leaned another gem

Now I know why some used nailers look more like caulk guns with layers of crap on them, was wondering how nailing a trim makes them look like that. It's probably spackle on some;)

Try spot nail 10 mm staples in a good quality gun, mine fires through rondo exes 9/10 times. The problem I had with the 12v Milwaukee gun was the quality of the firing pin it worked great for 2 weeks and then started skipping staples and shooting 2 staples. I shoot sq set Up with an air gun and cordless compressor, rubbish for exes it bends them. But faster and cheaper than spray glue. Have a look at ave’s channel he dose a tare down and hack on the 12v gun that is vary good Keep up the tool review s max

I use m12 for lighter jobs, containments, it is not meant for framing. How much you pay for the M18 in Australia? I know it is more expensive over there, right?

@@samk.871 im wasn't framing with the m12 just putting on my corner beads (exys) with it. The m18 crown stapler has no trouble at all. Here in Australia we get ripped when it comes to tools I paid $670 for just the tool.

Does the M12 work as good as the M18 for slim lines? Im wondering which one to get? 🤔
@mauricesand9416
@mauricesand9416 3 года назад
Nah..the m12 isn't ment to be used for that type of.work ..it usually does good at putting up like sunroom screen ,insulation, etc ... bc it doesn't sink the staples that deep ..
