----------------------------------------------
The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL 1/2” Hammer Drill Driver w/ ONE-KEY is a very powerful hammer drill! Milwaukee Tool rates this drill at 1,400 in/lb. This cordless drill features AUTOSTOP Control Mode for Enhanced Safety. That mode detects a kickback or bind situation and turns off the drill. Milwaukee prides itself on the timing of this so as to not take away user productivity by turning off the drill too soon and also not too late after an injury. The Milwaukee Tool 2905-20 and 2906-20 feature ONE-KEY to allow users to gain the ability to Customize, Track and Manage their tool. Operators can customize the AUTOSTOP™ Control Mode with Low, Medium, and High Sensitivity settings. Using the tool's tracking functionality, if ever lost or stolen, lock it out to protect your investment.

The 2904-20 doesn't have the one-key feature if anybody doesn't require that feature. It's an awesome drill and aside the one-key, it's identical in performance. Thanks for doing this review.

I was thinking the same, I didn't dig deeper to find right. Thank you for confirming that 👍

No surprise that Milwaukee’s newest flagship M18 drill destroys the wood. In the beginning when you started going larger in the High Output batteries, I was thinking “he’s going the wrong way” I’d have much rather seen the 3.0 HO as well as 5.0XC performance.

the larger batteries can become a weight issue for some people. This is a pro grade drill. Most folks will not need this kind of power. Nevertheless, it's a beast, and I'm getting one.

The detent is on purpuse because when you want to disengaged the autostop you put the clutch in the middle and press 5 time the trigger

The problem with demonstrating in this way is that YES using a new tool with new blades is always successful but in the trades, we need them to make it threw the entire week collectively. On another note.. I try to reduce the number of high quality tools I carry, so I pare the (large) brushless bandsaw with the 12amp and I can use it for 2 months before it needs a charge. So worth it!!☝️🇺🇲

So, I am unsure what you are saying as far as the blades. My drill bits are not new. I do sharpen them as needed. But if you watch the video in its entirely, I am looking for heat while we show what you should be able to expect. Also, I do talk about wood variations. I would prefer to charge my 6Ah battery once a day rather than use a 12Ah all week. Just me. We are all different.

Juat got this drill. I notice a clacking sound when in speed 2 and gradually releasing the trigger to slow down. I know there should be a brake from running to full stop but slowing down gradually?

Does the Milwaukee Chuck have a slight wobble when you look straight at it and pull trigger slow? Mine does I just bought it wondering if they all do that.

I guess it’s a little odd but my old Milwaukee drill broke yesterday and I immediately had a moment of elation,, gives me an excuse to go buy this new drill.

That weird that it won’t drill a 2 9/16 hole in speed 2. My gen 3 with a fresh 8.0 or 6.0 battery will do it.

I do not believe any of our large drills have even spun that bit in speed 2, or 3 if we are talking Dewalt.

Do a shoot out between the Gen3 with the electronic clutch Vs the Gen4 Mechanical Clutch. I don't understand the user problems between the electric clutch vs the manual one. Also how long should you leave the battery charged but not in use etc.Thanks
@QuockhanhPham20
@QuockhanhPham20 Год назад
the electronic will shut down the machine immediately when it reach the setting so it will quite low noise The Mechanical still let the machine run but the screw can't go far than the setting , the sound is a bit loud
@michaelbychkov8030
@michaelbychkov8030 Год назад
@@QuockhanhPham20 You forgot to mention the main point. Mechanical clutch is better 99.9% of the time because its instant. There will be a delay in the electronic clutch to stop the drill so it shouldn't be used for sensitive stuff.
@QuockhanhPham20
@QuockhanhPham20 Год назад
@@michaelbychkov8030 yeah you are right i forgot that point I have both and the mechanical make the precision job very well , better than the electronic one

The 6ah has been proven to have a higher peak torque output than 8ah, for impacts at least. Torque test channel.

I agree! And in most other tools it seems that way, but sometimes ot is not. Sort of depends on the tool. I cannot explain it. I can show it via voltage drop in some tools, but don't know why it works best in some, but not all.

Gen 4 is desapointing mecanical clutch, just + 5 nm torque? , bigger drill, really is the same like one gen 3 with one key.. but more expensive.

It's been proven that there's not much of a power difference between the 6ah and the 8 battery
