I'm gonna get this for my dad for Christmas. He loves to sit outside all day, it can get a little cool in South Carolina, so he's gonna love this.

@@worcestershiresauce3720 He loves it, better than the propane heater he practically had to sit on top of before. Thing works great!

is there anyway to convert this to NG. would be so much better to not have to worry about propane tank eps when i have quick connect in my garage for ng

@jonathanlapointe6262 7 месяцев назад
I see no reason why you couldn't just go ahead and connect natural gas to it. So long as you have the right fittings it's going to fire up

I was 1hr from town last night in -46c and my fuel pump went on my service truck last night at 9pm, of course my generator wouldn’t start cause of the cold, I changed the pump but was frozen buy the time i was done, im going to buy this unit when i get to town next time

I have a thermoheat 30,000 to 60,000 and when i tested the temp comming out its around 1100°f the thing is definitely a lifesaver but I like yours better cuz it's a lot quieter mine really sounds like a freakin jet engine taking off! and of course you can take it somewhere that doesn't have electric which is quite a nice feature and did you say that the ticking goes away on yours? cuz it doesn't on mine. Also it's annoying that mine doesn't have an on off switch. if it's plugged in its on if it's unplugged it's off. not a great design as far as that goes but its all good, i added a light switch..

Awesome review ! I’d like to see a comparison against a kerosene heater vs propane . I’m sure propane is cleaner, how about run time and heat output …. I currently run a kerosene in the shop and altho a bit smelly it works when we’re there drinking beers. What type of efficiency does Milwaukee have to make me switch to propane from kerosene ??
@WorkshopAddict
@WorkshopAddict Год назад
I'd you watched the full video, I talked about how these are not efficient. They love to suck down fuel on high. Your big benefit is the cleaner burn and lack of fumes. It will cost more to run and probably put out more heat.
@jonathanlapointe6262
@jonathanlapointe6262 7 месяцев назад
I don't have the exact same one but it's certainly a very similar principal and probably just as efficient. I I agree that if you have it on high it's going to go very fast however you don't have to run it on high, in fact if you it do you run on high you're probably going to do overheat yourself and certainly run out of fuel quickly. I rarely put it on high for more than 1 or 2 minutes I hardly ever put it on high in the workshop. Had some issues with the hvac in the house, 1500 sq ft, and I did put it on high in there for a little while and it warms it right up then you can either put it on low or turn it off I've been using the same tank now for 3 weeks. And I have about half a tank. Considering the tank is like $19 it's really not a bad deal..

I've been using this for a couple months now to smoke on my deck. I use it on low exclusively maybe an hour a day, little more on weekends. A 20lb tank has been lasting me at least week or two

Hi, I live in tropical weather area, so there's no need for this kind of heater and I've never seen anyone using this in my life. Is this kind of device mainly use for in house or for outdoor activities?
@WorkshopAddict

Would be mainly for a garage, trailer, or an outdoor area.

@@WorkshopAddictSo would it be safe for me to use this in a 2 1/2 car garage with 14 ft ceilings with the doors closed?
@WorkshopAddict
@WorkshopAddict Год назад
@dragland7268 with the doors closed is the issue. Could you warm it up with the doors closed and turn it off after a short period, yes. Does the garage door leak air, yes. Can you, or should you run this for long periods that way, no. Just like idling a car in the garage. Ok for short periods, not for long.

I can't see a huge reason to spend $80 more over the Ryobi version. 10k more BTU and longer warranty I guess.
@WorkshopAddict
@WorkshopAddict 11 месяцев назад
If you used the two next to each other, you would see a huge difference is physical size and the amount of heat produced.
@TJNinneman
@TJNinneman 11 месяцев назад
@@WorkshopAddict Might head to HD tonight to make the same comparison. Are you saying Ryobi is smaller with less output?
@WorkshopAddict
@WorkshopAddict 11 месяцев назад
@TJNinneman Yes. Look at the two side by side. The ryobi is a much smaller package and the fan does not push the heat far. We have a video on it as it is not a new product. It is simply a poor design compared to the Milwaukee.
