People seem to be on one side or the other. Either this is another great young prospect or purely a business move. I like to think it’s both and trust that our scouting department has identified the best South Korean talent to choose

Oh, fantastic! We're on track to recruit top-notch players... eventually. It might not happen this season, or the next, or even in the foreseeable future. Let's just stick to our plan of nurturing young talent. After all, we've been masterfully executing this "rebuilding" strategy for the past 24 years. Why rush greatness when we can savor the anticipation for another delightful 25 years?

My main concern in bringing in so many young talents is that if we don’t focus on first team signings, and end up having a disappointing season, unfortunately a large portion of the fan base will turn on Ange again and ultimately get him sacked before any of these youth players even get minutes.

@@antonyevans559 I wouldn't say "political" either, but I definitely think "cynical" and "commercially driven: but it probably is Levy realising that Son is coming towards the end of his career and still wants the money/attention from the South Korean market. However, hopefully it's not driven by Levy and he can actually go on to develop and have a good career

^^ When Son signed with Tottenham in 2014, many like you thought it’s political contract. So this time Levi moved quicker with cheap price for the potential one. Smart move!

I was listening to a Korean Spurs fan RU-vidr and in Korea he’s apparently considered the very best of all young Korean prospects, better potential than Sonny at same age etc. So I don’t think it’s entirely ‘political’ but time will tell.

Signing Werener and kid after kid after kid.. signifies 2 things.....NO AMBITION.. AND ENIC OUT. You can't be looking at the bright side of this..Building a team that matures in 2027. NOBODY will take us seriously. What happened to all the Supa Dupa data analysis .. This is clearly buy young hope for the best sell down the line. Don't be fooled by this. We're meant to be bloody challenging

I find it mind boggling that the fans don’t like the fact we’re buying top class youngsters. That is the ONLY way we’ll ever compete with the top sides . Just weird and of course the marquee signings are coming .

Just a backup talent team to the 1st eleven... Luca Gunter Gk., Archie Gray, Luka Vuškovic, Ashley Phillips, Jamie Donley, Tyrese Hall, Mikey Moore, Lucas Bergvall, Dane Scarlett, Alejo Veliz, Alfie Devine WOW. I do think we are well placed !

All of these younger signings are great but if Spurs don’t improve the first team with some proven talent it’s clear that Levy is still not prioritizing winning.

Phenomenal business by Spurs over the past few transfer windows and so it continues. The rebuild is slow because it has to be. It started with foundations being ripped up and rebuilt from the bottom, that takes time.There will always be vocal Spurs supporters who just look for any reason to bash ENIC/Levy but frankly that’s becoming very boring🥱. The grass is always greener on the other side until you’re on the other side…

@@N17Stu yeah ok, but he also said the fourth signing is Werner who isn’t a new addition. We need to be careful how we speak because some people will actually believe we’ve bought 4 new players when in reality we’ve bought three 18 year olds one of which is going back out on loan. 2 18 year old signings and it’s almost august doesn’t look good
