Great to see designs revised on bv after years. Your previous atte was great david but this is just next level. Amazing seeing more talented designers like bousker work with bv.
This is so insane. When I saw it I thought it would be one that has little or no interior because the exterior details are so good I just couldn’t imagine an interior. So cool!
I would argue both of these models portray the two aspects of the AT TE well, the original one as a mega troop transport and the second more like a mobile recon base we see from the Show, in my opinion having both would complete the image truly.
I'm speechless. So many details already and then it includes the AT-RT ramp with an AT-RT as well as those liftable middle legs and a gun that has accurate elevation and depression!
those wind up middle legs so you can make it look like it's climbing over terrain is a deal sealer for me. I've never gotten a custom set but this on my shelf is something I need
Nice! I always considered this custom AT-TE design as the best on the market. I thought this version by Bousker was vastly superior to the Older on the BrickValt website. Now it’s actually being added now, Awesome stuff.
Excellent video of an absolutely amazing model! Plus I especially like how you, David, being one of the most talented MOC designers out there (I still treasure your version of the AT-RT and have it on display in the office) pay so much respect to the designer of the new model. Wholesome. :)
I bought the instructions and just compared the measurements he shared on the video with the 7675 play set- they are the exact same sizes all around. I hope 2x 7675 and 1x 75337 bring me close to the parts needed.
It looks absolutely amazing! The level of exterior detail is crazy, altough i still think Davids interior is the most accurate. I currently have Davids version and wonder if i somehow can combine Davids interior and the new ones exterior.. It would be wild :D
This build is such an improvement for what was already an amazing build with the older version! Also I love that you can fit an AT-RT in the back, it’s very immersive. Do you think that you guys will sell the instructions for the AT-RT on your website separately in case somebody wants to just build those and not the whole AT-TE? I would definitely buy the instructions and build a whole army of them for my clone troopers
@@moritzjust4375 Oh yeah, you're right.. Looks like a new build for the cockpit fairing.. attached with a mixel joint instead of the old, smooth plate cockeyed in a 1x1 clip? The ACTIS is my favorite so I'll be excited for that
@@ThatTallBrendan I started assembling the Parts for the current Brickvault Design. Maybe I wait a few more weeks and Mix both Designs, or try only the new one.
@@moritzjust4375 Guess we'll see how fast they put these videos out X) I just saw an awesome design in one of their top ten videos, I had to dig it out of the description.. but designer 'Ghost Hunter Gunn' on flickr has a post titled 'Azure Angel 3' that you ought to [look up] and check out _It's cool_ Ought to build that one
I like the return to format for these review videos. All the focus on the model Not that a person engaging with the camera is bad, but it just has a different feel more reminiscent of like cringe, corporate unboxing videos
@cunctator1949 I got the instructions when it was on rebrickable, but it no longer is. I also used parts from my own collection, which helped cost, but I think if I remember I spent 200$-300$ on pieces, mainly between what I could get from pick a brick and from bricklink. Been a year or so, so I don't remember 100%, but I think in that range
Hey brickvault! Could you guys make an updated parts list, for what I would need to order if I have the New AT-TE set? I know this custom has a bunch of pieces that are different but I see a few that are the same and it would be nice to know how much it is to order just what I NEED, using the parts I already have from the set! I hope you guys see this, thanks!
amazing, was waiting for this bad boy, had a feeling it was coming with the updated models recently, next up, nu class republic attack shuttle? maybe? please? haha great stuff
Well I would have suggested revisiting the Jedi interceptor but, it seems you got that covered, so, I guess my other suggestions would be to 1. Revisit the Delta 7 to make it cleaner 2. The Phantom 1 from rebels And of course 3. Supermarine Spitfire mk. 1, 9, 24 Thanks
"Here's a cookie for reference." THAT caught me of guard. Ha ha. XD Also, still hoping for a minifig scale HAVw A6 Juggernaut somewhere in the distant future. I have yet to give up on that idea.
@@seanloftus5950 Honestly, I WANNA see the A6 due to how huge it actually is. The A5 and A9 are both just... So small compared to the big lad. And it annoys me that those two other variants is seemingly what we're getting in Star Wars media recently... Either that or actually just down-scaled variants of the A6 as seen on Felucia in the Clone Wars.
are you thinking about bringing back top 10 mocs of the week i really enjoyed watching them on days off and also really inspire me to make mocs of my own
awsome to make another minifig scale at-te, but what about a minifig scale ut-at or a5 juggernaut (if asking why not an a6, just watch the scale of it)?
Amazing model! I started sourcing the parts and find the 5x5 light bluish grey dishes to be quite expensive. About $10-20 each. Any suggestions for a substitution piece or alternate method? Thanks!
Can we get a fix for the original design so that it doesn't collapse under its own weight? This design is awesome, but David's interior is an absolutely perfect match to the actual interior. This seems to only focus on exterior accuracy.
Yes there have been, one was the cockpit design so it stays on better and I've spotted one for the cannon on the top. If you bought it before in rebrickable you can contact bousker on socials, he will show you the updated stuff, he is looking into sending the previous buyers the manuals and future updates as it's a bit complicated currently
To be honest the amount of work to make the instructions and model is a lot of work. But I get your point maybe 15-20 dollars would be more appropriate.
It's a long shot, but any chance someone can fit the standalone Brickvault AT-RT design David did in this model? Probably not since i couldn't get the legs to fold like the model in the video, but I couldn't help but wonder anyway.
