One of Australia's hottest Bluewater fishing destinations The outer Great Barrier Reef. Theres just too much for one episode so I've broken it into 2 parts cos I know you all have busy lives... Aanndd if you're like me you're probably slack to watch hour long fishing clips..
Part 1 - Outer GBR jigging and topwater with Ron from Compleat Angler Cairns. We spent 2 full days exploring new ground and found a heap of jigging marks and nice shallow ledges for flats fishing. Plenty of non stop action and the fish really turned it on for us!!
Part 2 will be up this Sunday (hopefully) which will be the jigging side of the trip, fishing between 30m and 150m on the reefs edges for all those big unstoppable creatures. After filtering through the raw videos, it's gunna be a ripper and I'm keen to get into editing it!!
In this episode you will see some of the highlights from our flats session with a pretty special 3 way on Maori Sea Perch and a Red Bass, some nice Coral Trout and a few GTs..
