We bought a red RS a month ago to replace our 2019 Traverse. Love it. Great update, the 22s ride great, it looks great, is ultra comfortable and spacious, they really did a good job w/this one. Only "complaint" is that turbo 4 just....sounds like a turbo 4. Wish they had kept he V6, our MPGs with that motors were pretty good and we always used cheap gas. A turbo V6 might have been nice! Supercruise is also a winner. Not perfect, but on longer road trips it's fantastic. We will definitely be paying to keep that after 3 years.

Glad gm is working on their seats. We considered this but decided the v6 in the pilot trailsport was probably a better long term vehicle. I don’t like the turbo 4 at all.

Good looking rig. I think it the interior looks great and appears to be very comfortable. The dash looks so integrated unlike so many others with the "tablet" sticking up. The center screen looks high enough that you don't need to look down so far for controls like others.

I think I might more interested in the GMC Acadia AT4, even the base trim Elevation has fog lights. I'm glad they kept the same fuel capacity as they had in the old platform! I do like this platform's on-demand 4WD though.

Nice review Tim. We have an 18 with 110k miles. Absolutely no issues. Not a fan with majority of controls on a screen you need to trust to always work. I saw this introduced with the Colorado and was immediately turned off by light controls on a screen. I appreciate the column shifter. Kinda old school. Overall looks nice. I am leery about the 4 cyl long term for such a big vehicle.

So this does look pretty good. Even considered one a few months ago. The reliability scores ended up scaring me away. That being said, this engine could dramatically improve the reliability of the Traverse. So I will check back in 2 - 3 years to see if Chevy has, in fact, improved and then maybe I will consider one(there is a lot to like here - namely in the interior and the payload capacity.) The ZR1 here, like the Colorado, is the sweet spot in terms of price vs features.

It's a slighty smaller version of the 2.7L engine that's been very reliable in GM pickups both full size and midsize.

Which one do you like more, Traverse Z71 or Acadia AT4? Which one offers a more pleasant ride?

Traverse. GMC Acadia probably has a better ride though.

Heckuva an extra charge for this over the base (LS trim FWD). I'm skeptical when I see ~$10,000 differences between starting and Z71 trim level. Even more when you move to RS!

And for the Negative, Z71 trim. $54,000. No memory seats and outside mirrors, only drivers side window is auto up and down, passenger seat is not electric, and universal remote garage door opener is not standard. What I have issues with so far.

It's free for the 3 years and then it's $25 a month for continuous map updates an improvements to features and you can do a $20 a month AT&t unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot so you can always keep your vehicle up to date with adding new features

@@PickuptrucktalkCan't you also 'tether' your phone to get past any need and cost for another cell connection? I've seen RU-vidrs do this and continue to use the built in Google map display.

@@BobPritchardYes you can I'm sure but T-Mobile only gives you 40 gigs of mobile hotspot per month then it's unlimited 3G for my plan
