Red flag- this video demonstrates exactly why forgiveness is a triggering word. You don’t judge someone’s forgiveness. Sounds like the dad did something to make “forgiveness” easy/possible? But the judgement on the mom: she’s angry, can’t let go, you even know WHY shes mad? Because you have a relationship with your dad? Blaming the mom for your lack of relationship. “Forgiving” your father was so difficult, you are on a show talking about it. Your mother has the burden of what he has done to her PLUS watching him be “forgiven” and enjoying the relationship she wants. Ouch. She can likely see the injustice that I can see. And your dad over there - “yeah forgive woman, be like me” I wish the others could have called out the moral superiority. Poor mom. Kind of ruins the video.
