For anyone saying this is fake: there's a reason why you start to lose your balance when you spin yourself around really fast for a while. You temporarily alter the part of your ear that controls your upright balance. What this device is doing is basically that same principle, except using the rc motor to alter it almost instantly.

I've read so many comments from people that think this is fake. Firstly, he put the scientific name of the principle that allows this to work in the video description. Second, if you've taken any sort of biology course, you know that the body is very manipulable and that there is a liquid in your ears that maintains your equilibrium/sense of balance. It's not a huge step to assume that that can be shifted, as it often is in everyday life. That's why you feel like falling after spinning. Basically, to all of you suggesting that this is a hoax, you really should think about what you're saying, because this guy does not do hoaxes, and you suggesting that he does puts on display a surprising level of ignorance.

I think the reason people jump to the conclusion that it is fake is because of the amount of fake videos on youtube as a whole. So when something impressive like this happens it's often confused with all the other fake stuff on youtube.

hey if you actually do research on this scientific principle, you would you that we cant manipulate these nerves this precisely yet. we can send electric signals to the nerves, yes of course. but its kind of like smashing your fist on a keyboard. yeah your hitting the nerves you want to hit but youre also hitting shit tons of other ones around it. we dont actually have a way to do it precisely yet to move only specific limbs in a specific direction. now im not trying to completely shut down the idea of this, but if you can give me any proof that it is real, and possible with our current technology, id actually love for some information, as this is a very fascinating topic

It seems like the novelty would wear off after a few minutes. Now if you could create a sending helmet with at least 4 axis control, then things might get interesting. I'd also want to see how well it works if someone actively resists the control.

Depends on the person, for me if I resist for too long I get nauseous since my eyes and inner ears aren't agreeing, like sea sickness. GamingWithGow didn't feel much of anything until he was blindfolded, which is why that first toggle caught him off guard lol.

it seems to only have 2 axis control however. It seems like a novel idea, but again it seems as if the novelty would quickly wear off. It's a nifty concept, but it needs more complexity to really be interesting. MIND CONTROL!!!!!!!

+Wesley Cagle you left out some parts out there are basically gyroscopes in the ears which tells your body if you are up or down so without those you would not be able to tell it was up and down so if you stimulate those with different voltage's or amps going through those and stimulating them can cause you to move or even if it's high enough you could even jump!!!

I'm pretty sure I have an idea of how it works. electrical pulses are put behind the ear around the pressure point that are somehow effecting the inner ear and your ears are what give you the sense of balance so you feel like the ground is going one way

You know, there was this old show called "Crystal Maze" and one of the zones had a stage where you are "blind-folded" and then your team gives your directions to avoid hitting the "laser walls" and THIS invention would've been so useful for that particular stage! xD
