Mindmaps during meetings don't work for me. I feel you miss important details and prefer bullet notes. I don't have time to traverse a audio recordings either. If other people rely on your notes the mind map structure might not work for them either. Also the way I think while in a meeting is different then the way I think while making mindmaps, I'd be too lost in my own thoughts and how things can be moved, oriented, summerized to be present in the meeting. I mind map after meetings for big ideas and after small convos. Mindmaps are great but I think there is a time and place for them.
Hi Sheng, insightful video. Just a question, when sharing the material/minutes of the meeting with your team or all parties. Do you send it in mind map form? Or do you manually type out linear notes for them?
Thanks a lot Sheng for sharing this knowledge, I really loved the usage of colors to keep organized everything. Definitely I will apply these. If you could share more about mind maps I’d love to watch. 🇲🇽

Wow, this will be so helpful for me. I often come out of meetings thinking “What the heck just happened?” This will help me remember things much easier.
I do not know if you are still doing this but if you move forward you may wish to explore directing by GOALS. Artists, business projects, business careers, health: meditation, sports, as such that interests you. Get a Six Sigma certificate 🌈
With everyone having personal AI... everything around that person will be recorded by themselves an any other person around them... What laws are going to stop this?
Thanks for sharing! This is so very useful for meetings and just about everything else, and you explain it so easily and so well! I was wondering, have you ever used mind maps to analyse personal situations/scenarios?
Absolutely - all the time. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f_fMYdbd0Hk.html. I've two videos coming up that covers mind mapping our emotions as a self therapy technique. Stay tuned!
Hello Bro, Have a question. This mindmap nodoubt is really good 👌 How can we send Minutes of Meeting after this mindmap ? Do we need to manually type the MOM ? or is there any AI which can give us in summarized form ?
Hey! Totally. I use AI a lot for my team. Personally I'd suggest you take a look at Krisp or even Otter.ai is really quite good. I'd still double cross-check it to your handwritten map annotations but they can get you pretty far.
@@ShengHuang Thank you bro 🙏🏻. I have learned a lot from your mindmap lessons 😊 and taking your mindmap course also. Your mindmap lessons changed my life 🙏🏻. Thanks for sharing & helpful everyone in life ❤️🤗
Hello Sheng. These mindmaps inspired from Tony Buzan method (start from a center, radial, etc.) are not the best way to go about it. I suggest checking the work of Justin Sung an improved mindmapping technique. You will be mind blown ;)
Hi Nicolas! I've actually never heard of Tony until I got onto RU-vid and viewers began mentioning his name 😅 I've always used it as an intuitive way to organize my inner and professional chaos - like this: www.mindmapnation.com/articles/living-1000-years. I like what Justin's doing, but there's no "right" way to map - everyone's different and I encourage you to discover what works for you! 🙌
Absolutely, mind mapping is a fantastic tool for planning presentations! I love using maps to organize my thoughts and structure my presentations effectively. It's great to hear you're considering this approach - I find it really helps clarify the flow of information and keeps the audience engaged. Thanks for your comment, it's a great observation!
Super helpful. Cant believe you are sharing your ‘trade secrets’ and knowledge so openly and generously. I’ve watch many of your videos in the past few days. They are all excellently done and so useful. Lucky us. Thank you lots. Hope your good karma finds you soon - if it hasn’t already 🙂
Thank you so much Usha for your kind words :) They really make my day! Haha my philosophy is all about openness and sharing so that we can grow together. In fact I've learned so much already from just interacting with people like you at Mind Map Nation (MMN) - to the extent that I really see my RU-vid channel and MMN as co-creation projects :D If you're ever interested to connecting with likeminded people hungry for professional and personal growth, do check us out! www.mindmapnation.com
Hi Sarvodaya! This is exactly why I made the Mind Map Nation community: www.mindmapnation.com/membership. I regularly meet with our members there over zoom calls and hold office hours.
When you are in a meeting and writing all this down what time is left to look into their eyes and understand what their agenda, hopes, desired outcomes are?
