I am a saxophone player coming back to the scene after a long hiatus. I look forward to growing old and playing. Mindi Adair showed up on my radar when I would watch American Idol, eagerly. I voted for her then, and I still vote for her now. If she needed it. Tears of joy.
This is just incredible music. Mindi is the real deal! I have met her and she is one of the authentic musicians truly living her music. There is no act there! Music is just who she is, and she naturally moves with the music. It's really wonderful to see someone so authentically dedicated to how the music moves them. It comes through in the positive feel her music has too. Just wonderful. I love this video!
I've played trumpet 40+ years.. where I live in S.C. there's nobody to form a jazz band, so I'm playing keys in a rock band. Lol. Listening to you guys really makes me miss playing with other horn players.. thanks for the great music...
Mindi seems to transmit so much energy by her saxophone! I love her music, but this is my favourite music video! This blonde musicians gives her best performance on live stage. Great!
I got here following the Y/T wormhole. In a debate about Jack Bruce vs. Wayman Tisdale as best bass player ever I saw Mindi in a video with the big man. I click on this and I'm treated to a B3 Hammond Organ, smooth riffs, and a spectacular rendition of an iconic song. Thanks.
God damn it's good to be a Human that gets to hear beautiful noise like that!! Those drums and bass hold it down the keys and sax just make it sexier. How fun!!
That's how a sax should sound. Sadly, I can barely rise above the squeaks to play a few simple staccato melodies. I'm grateful to the skills of the inspirational!
Mindi is my second cousin, I'm NOT kidding. I met her when she was on tour and came around my area. We got to go back stage, watch them practice, and her dad paid the tickets for us! It was a really great experience and I would love to see her again! (No hate replies, please. I'm being completely and truly honest!)
listen to all of you haters, my lord. how small are you people to come here and complain. just enjoy her music and thank her for allowing you to enjoy this video. thanks mcjollyman for sharing, this video is awesome.
Je ne me lasse pas de cette vidéo :-). J'apprends le saxo ténor depuis 1 an et ça me donne envie d'essayer l'Alto ! Magnifique arrangement de Imagine qui me fait frissonner à chaque écoute !!!
A very talented young lady. She is not one of the best female Renor Sax players, she is one of the best Tenor Sax players period, regardless of gender.
Mindi Abair, j'ai appris à vous connaitre sur RU-vid et je suis devenu Fan de votre musique. je suis un très grand Admirateur de Saxo et je tiens à vous saluer très sincèrement. Très Cordialement Biz
Are those not real stairs behind them ?! 😂 that's so cool & funny lmao. Also, CHILLSSS 😍😍 loved this video ❤ I just bought my first sax earlier today !
Hi Mindi, I've seen you perform with Peter White in Reading, PA a few times around Christmas You are great! I have some of your Cd's. We live in Winter Haven, FL now. Maybe we will get to see some of your concerts in Tampa.
Brilliant video and audio / you’ve got great tone and dynamics you’ve inspired me to pick up my sax again and update my channel thanks for sharing. 5 Star Performance.Love it.
The Keyboardist is Arlan Scheierbaum, He played with Joe Bonamassa for a couple of years. He rocks the keyboards. We had the pleasure of seeing him with Joe Bonamassa in Vegas. What a concert!
I'm not a musician at all, I'm 63. After I heard you, I bought an alto sax. Now I'm sacrificing a lot of my profession to learm a bit of sax. This only to say you are the main responsible of my frustration, but it's only a game against myself. I love your sound.
i don't understand why this doesnt have like 10 million veiws, cats falling off stupid walls etc have more, mindi is as cute as a kitten here and music is sweet as a button
this is a perfect example of acoustic music played well. Even if it is a cover. I'd take 3 seconds of this sax playing over 20 years of shite 'hip hop' computerised shite that passes for a good track currently.
I heard the best what cover. Expression, inventiveness, commitment this has all Mindi.I adore her on the scene.Let him stay on the day on the night for ever there.Miras from Poland.
Thanks for share it! #smoothjazz
