He edits his own videos, manages multiple accounts, collabs with other youtubers constantly, interacts with his viewers on twitch, sends individual, signed thank you letters to fans, doesn't hesitate to give shout outs to fanart and animations, is extremely humble and complimentary towards other youtubers, and doesn't play in to petty drama. In comparison to other youtubers, not even just gaming channels, this man works incredibly hard for his audience and probably deserves more. However, I am not a tyrant and am interested in any issues you may have with his work should you be able to conceive any.

Ilumina is much faster doing stuff. Dream doesn’t even really hot key items. Watching ilumina imo is way cleaner.

I have to disagree with you, Illumina is insane in terms of mobility, and I've yet to see dream pull some of the things that Illumina has done.

@@DBB314 The return to sender achievement means that you basically counteracted a ghast's attack. The monster hunter achievement simply means killing a hostile mob. Getting them at the same time means that the ghast was the first hostile mob you killed, which is impressive, considering that even going to the nether takes a pretty long time for a typical player, while simply killing a hostile mob happens really early.

Is it sad I played mobile for like 4 years, never beat the dragon, played java for 1.5 years and only beat the dragon with my friends one time?

No kidding, I had a world with a friend, and it took us like a month, but I guess that was more of a let's play. I'm thinking about trying to get a better speedrun time by myself, but definitely not a WR. It pobably took months to learn everything you would need to know and the skills you would need to have to get a world record, but I'll be satisfied with just a time under a day.

Propably not. Warped forests are slow for endermen since they dont spawn near eachother and bartering has a 5% chance to get 4-8 pearls per gold. That might be good but endermen are not fast

It was one of the most boring manhunts unfortunately. Not enough screaming, an hour of hitting each other underwater.

@@solidwaterslayer I would agree as a casual Minecraft player, that it was not nearly as entertaining as manhunts with George, Sapnap, or BadBoyHalo. Illumina isn't as animated as them and isn't used to a Manhunt scenario either. The dialogue was pretty boring. However, I think for a lot of people, the manhunt was thrilling since the technical prowess of both of them were really being showcased. It was the first time someone who could move like Dream, who understood the game as a speedrunner and could match Dream in almost every way was featured. It was like an endless game of tug of war in the ocean, both evenly skilled and witty, a victor only arising from the exhaustion of the other.

I would honestly not be surprised if 1.16 had a different category for speed runs cause it changes the game a fair bit

@@RyuDaB3ast It would probably be same, as the nether fortress were not changed. 1.9+ was only created because stronghold/end update made it slower, if 1.16 makes it faster I doubt a new category will be created.

theres 99% that theres going to be a category split. also, the 1.16 strats consist of lots more rng and i dont think it would be that speedrunnable + streamable (in terms of consistency and how bearable running is in large doses)

@@SilliestURL Explain your reasoning behind 99%? Only two new major changes have been introduced, both for Ender Pearls solely (Piglin Bartering in Bastion Remnants or Enderman in Warped Forest). There is no reason for a category split, if one would have happened it would have been 1.9-1.12/1.13 just because how much is changed by the new villages.

@@UltraAryan10 Actually, 1.9+ became different for a multitude of reasons, including: Efficiency of obtaining eyes of ender changing Major layout changes of the end and stronghold Movement changes Literally the entire meta changed because of it. im pretty sure 1.16 will be different because of navigation, exploration and spawning issues as well as mobs, bartering, and many more things. dont forget 1.16 is still being updated and im sure there will be a few more major changes.

If he remembered the beds he probably would've ignored the village and he wouldn't have thrown the eye from there, making it less likely for him to dig right into the portal room, so forgetting bed probably saved him time just by chance

He won’t beat Dream for a long time unless he gets lucky, do u watch his streams? This took like months. No hate to illumina he’s a great player, it’s just so hard to get a record, Dream did probably did up to a hundred hours of work to get his, and illumina streams all his runs so it takes a while.
