i mean they still have their differences though such as illumina doesn't like dream's clickbait but mans gotta eat and dream does dream so its not like they are mortal enemies.

@@UltraAryan10 because it isn't exactly descriptive. saying "Minecraft but I got the world record..." is technically correct but it is clickbait as it encourages people to click on the video and see the time, for instance, and the type of run (any%? any% rsg? ssg?). i'm not talking about the fake titles clickbait but rather the "title is intentionally vague so that people click more often" clickbait. also, he constantly talks about "only x% of my viewers are subscribed..." which is annoying. again though, just as with illumina, these are kind of annoying but i also would agree that they are necessary to survive off of youtube nowadays. dream has to eat and that's unavoidable. i don't hate him for it personally and neither does illumina (i assume, like come on you heard them talk) but it is just something that has to happen and it is what it is. they are good friends (well, i guess they might not be super close but they do know each other and aren't negative towards each other), but i guess the reason i left the original comment was to explain why people were confused why people thought they were enemies. in the past, illumina had a series of commands on twitch called !dream, !dream2, and !dream3, which detailed some of the issues illumina had with dream's videos (specifically, the 5-block jump one, where dream did a ton of false assumptions and generally made a low-quality video for what it was) but this was more so illumina's issue with the specific video and the way dream has to run his channel (again, he has to eat food) but a lot of people thought of it (incl. me at one point) as "illumina hates dream lmaoooooo". also, that was when !findseed was a thing. rip !findseed 16 march 2020.

The fact that you could still get WR after all the troubles this run had really shows how much room there is for this category to lower time. Really looking forward to its future. Great job dude
I recently got into speedrunning becuase youtube recommended your beginners guide to me and I just wanna say that no way in hell did you just do this. Like how good can someone be?! My record in solo is 1:38:14 and I got super lucky. Hats of Illumina, the god of mc speedruns
@@limepop340 well, you have to remember how sometimes the game doesn't give you good RNG, even tho i do admit that his 1:38:14 is kinda awful, it's not like he could've gotten a super good seed so easily, so at least he did something for once
Anton Mossberg imagine the time if he did his 1.8 wr flawlessly. He spent like 2 minutes on finding the stronghold only for it to be right next to where he started the chest, and 5 of the eyes where filled in, meaning he had like 3 wasted eyes of ender

It was an HONOUR to witness this when it happened and Dreams reaction was gold. Dying twice and still beating the world record just shows how good u are at this game (with a tiny bit of luck, ofc). Next up; sub 20 👏

Illumina, you should post the 22 minutes run on YT too (the one ruined by bad luck trading). That run was crazy (before the clutch anyway). You could title it with some clickbait like "this could have been WR!" *surprised face and red arrow pointing at nothing in the thumbnail*
