Working perfectly, set it up and here I am with a whole stack of iron just a few minutes of it being operational. Though I did have the immensely dumb idea to try setting this up on a hill which took way too much time getting the villagers into place...

I'm finding that the placement of the boat there is slightly too close and the villagers manage to get into the boat with the zombie, so place it a little bit further, also consider putting glass instead of dirt above the hole where the villagers are so you can keep an eye on them.

For those who's golems are not spawning, you need to let that trapdoor(between zombie and villager) open,so villagers can see zombie

this is amazing, works in 1.20.4 too, if anyone's wondering. :) Just be mindful of building on top of hills, as it will be a pain to drive the boat up to the farm with the villagers.

I’ve also noted that if your iron golems randomly stop spawning in general, giving the villagers a job helps. I’d put work stations in there

instead of doing all that weird stuff with the signs, you can instead have all the water flow from one corner of the farm and use three signs to hold up the lava

check if there any caves if there are then fill them and right click with a shovel to make path blocks around the farm do this for 7blocks in each direction
