Minecraft 1.20 Trails and Tales Update Release Date Info! (New Leaks + Rumors) 

My comment might not represent the major consensus, but my two kids play Minecraft way less during their summer break. We are usually traveling and doing more outdoors things.

This video makes no sense.

Everyone keeps saying this is a huge update, but if it was released with the all the features it has right now, it would honestly feel disappointingly small. 1 biome, 2 wood types, one of which is just making wood out of a material already in game, a new structure that is really only useful for cosmetic armor items, a camel, and a new mob that gives you cosmetic plants? Compared to the nether update and caves & cliffs, which both majorly overhauled significant portions of the game, that's pretty bad. I feel like this update has a lot longer to go before it is really worth a full new update. I've been really excited about the sniffer, because it seems like these new plants are going to have a unique purpose we haven't seen in any other kind of plant so far, but if they don't add a totally new aspect to the game with these ancient plants, then there really wont be any reason to find a sniffer other than thinking the plants look kind of cool.

How is this update on the verge of too many changes? Its 1 biome, 2 new block pallets, 2 mobs, and armor cosmetics. This is nowhere near how big past updates were like overhauling the entire End and Nether dimensions and the entire underground. IMO its barely on par with the village and pillage update.
