If you told me that I would be going back to my previous Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft, I'd call you crazy... But here I am :). In this video, I'm going to show you why sometimes, it's better to leave old games dead and in the past. The 100% or Platinum or whatever you call it, for Minecraft's Achievements were not easy and at most times, insanely TEDIOUS and an Absolute Nightmare.

@@ZeldaMasterLogan yes it is less iconic than the red light of death for the xbox 360 but yeah there's a yellow light for the ps3. Instead of starting up and the green light turning on it goes yellow. :)

I miss the Xbox 360 Minecraft worlds. They were small enough to do weird things and big enough to still feel free. Me and a bunch of friends started a world and completely encased it in a giant box of bedrock to cast the world into enteral darkness. Then we switched it to survival and played in that world. We also added a floor to the end dimension and removed the ceiling and walls of the nether.

I never cared much for fully completing games as a kid, but I remember my friend and I racing to see who could get the rainbow wool achievement first at one point. Since it was a shared survival world that I had created, I waltzed over to his house while playing alone, stole two green dye for both the normal and lime wool, and had the achievement long before said friend got it. A hollow victory for sure, but a memorable one.

My first memories and introduction to Minecraft was doing and exploring as much as I could in the tutorial world (and back then it was fairly small) before the demo ran out of time before I bought the 360 version for real. This video definitely brings me back to those times

DUDE I CAN TELL YOU EVERYTHING ABOUT TU75 ON 360! I found 2 zombie and 2 skeleton spawners, 2 mineshafts, and even the secret entrance to the nether. Also don't bother relying on ender eyes to find the End portal, the portal's actually pretty close to spawn. I can talk about even more if anybody has questions. I've played long enough to get 2 stacks of diamond BLOCKS. I had to stop playing and put this save on hold to focus on my other goals like building my deck.

Also you could have saved HOURS if you tried getting the Frost Walker book in tutorial mode, thats how I got it so easily.

Regarding the Beaconator, it takes a fair bit of grinding but the old console editions let you reset the End and Nether so if you know where chests are with Iron/Gold in the Nether Fortress, you can grind those pretty easily

quick note a lot of xbox 360 achimvents can be cheesed by using the built in tutorial world you can knock a good amount out using just the built in Tutorial world ,

i refuse to update my xbox minecraft, pretty sure it's still on 1.3. the last time i went on my xbox in 2021, i hadn't been on it since 2014, nearly cried at hearing the sign in noise, my heart hurt so bad. it's crazy seeing players not being on for 6, 7, and 8 years.

26:16 This achievement was also my second to last when I did this game. I spent hours on it as well, just reloading my save in front of a librarian. I hope someone finds a seed with a shipwreck (or even an end city with one because fighting the dragon again would be better than dealing with RNG) that has frost walker boots on it because boots with treasure enchantments can spawn in shipwreck chests. This way RNG would be eliminated and you just need to enter a seed and get the boots, then stand on top of the ship. The thing is, this method can't work on the Legacy Console version for Switch or Xbox cause they don't have the Update Aquatic. BTW, the chances are 4/~120 for villagers (assuming you are unlocking all slots, which it doesn't sound like you were from your commentary) and 2/~24000 for non-enchanted fishing (yeah that number is the reason why the TA guides suggest the librarian method). At least with the version you chose, you didn't have to get frogs to eat magma cubes or kill a mob in a deep dark biome.

I tried it in 4 worlds, on the PS3 (it's virtually the same vertion of the 360, at least in having their final updates) The first two were normal land worlds with villages and ruins, and I gathered multiple copies of the right book; but there was not ocean biome, making them useless The third world was entirely an ocean with just a bunch of tiny surface islands. Finally the right biome, but with 0 villages, ruins, mansions, and the stronghold was a mess, so the only "reliable" options were keep exploring for dungeons and mineshafts underground for hours and probably not finding anything, or fishing potentially for hours, also not getting anything So I made a fourth world, and finally it was a decent map with parts of ocean AND also landmass with villages The village that I found luckily had a bunch of librarians and one of them had from the start the right book But it needed 56 emerald, plus a normal book I kept grinding for almost 4 days, farming paper to make a trade to every librarian that changed it for emeralds, until I finally gathered 56, a couple of minutes ago Not quite fun, but damn it feels satisfying finally getting the achievement

Yeah, I just gave up and did it in the tutorial world (for the 360, IDK how I did it for the One it's been like 5 years) if the librarian didn't have it in one of it's 4 slots, I reloaded the tutorial world without saving. The reason why I said a seed with a shipwreck, is because chests with the same seed always have the same loot, while fishing and villagers do not.

Minecraft was a really big thing with my family and relatives. We used to spend Thanksgiving with my maternal cousins, and we would hook up all 4 controllers to the Xbox 360 and have a Minecraft thanksgiving event. This was back before hunger worked the way it does now, so we spent the first five minutes beating up each other’s characters to drop our hunger so we could actually eat the food we had gathered.

But bedrock still has issues and its also trying to be the main and definitive version of the game and forcefully replaced all other versions except java

I'm gonna be honest: back when I used to play Xbox 360/PS3 Minecraft, I'd cheat the game by it autosave every 15 minutes. If I made a mistake like the one at 11:23, I'd just exit out out of the world without saving and lose up to 15 minutes of work *Max* , but it was a better alternative to losing literally everything in lava.

My 360 minecraft game glitched years ago and i can't update it to the last update it got before they decided to stop updating it Its interesting to try and play that version when i started playing just before the coloured bed update

11:30 this is why I would always keep one slot on my hotbar empty as a kid, so whenever I was near a big drop or near lava, I wouldn't accodentally throw my stuff. It shockingly happens more than you would think 0-0

I 100% the game in September of 2022. But one of my friends who’s an achievement hunter on Xbox secured me with 3 types of worlds he greater for achievement hunting plus the tutorial. It wasn’t that hard since half of them I got by playing the game naturally. But the other half were easy and I got piggybacked for some of the ones that were completely rng. So I see the pain

*Just so you know, the disc you put in was disc 13, it is one of 3 discs, or in this case 1 of 2 discs that plays A recording rather then A song. The other one is the broken looking disc that plays an audio track the give us some juicy lore.*
