this is like 2 months old now and people have probably said it, but you can indeed get saint while doing overtime, in fact you have to get a certain amount of survivors to get transmissionary, i have done it on both 360 and pc because the end of overtime does have a survivor list it keeps track of but doesn't show the player and when overtime is finished it counts Isabela and frank as the last 2 survivors for the achievement. I don't know where the misconception of you have to get the other endings instead of overtime for saint came from but it is wrong, it is a faster way if you already did overtime though. Anyways i just wanted to clear this up for people attempting to do an all achievements run for dead rising and to make it less time consuming.
Not only did someone at Gearbox screw up the drop rates in claptrap DLC. They then went on to not fix them for the GotY edition OR the enhanced version. Considering that these achievements have been a huge, well known gripe within the commity since the DLC released its even more ridiculous that it's never been addressed.
This is a pretty late comment, but if anyone wants to play the game, you should install DXVK for it, from my experience this eliminates the memory problems. From my latest playthrough i could easily play 4+ hours in a single sitting with 0 problems.

If you didn’t play the moxxis underdome to finish it I actually used to have SO much fun and played this dlc a lot back in the day just running waves and shooting shit with friends or randoms

Dead Island Riptide by my experience is just a sandbox at this point. It’s a modded/hacked to oblivion sandbox. Not only are the mechanics janky as hell, but the requirements for the platinum makes it feel more like a damn Minecraft playthrough rather than an engaging experience. Elden Ring and God of War 2018 for example had achievements that ACTUALLY felt engaging. They were fun, challenging, SUPER incredible and rewarding. But for some reason I can’t help but think about Dead Island 1 and Riptide without thinking about all the hacked weapons that get dropped to me every single time I make a new character. Now can I turn my game offline? Yes. But thats not the point. It’s almost impossible to play the game legitimately at this point because everyone always trolls. They spawn into my world, and blow me up with M72s 3 billion times. It feels more like a shitty Garrys Mod Dark RP server than a fucking zombie game. Now this isn’t to say multiplayer sucks, but nowadays it’s almost impossible to find people that just GENUINELY want to play the game, because the game sucks donkey balls. NOBODY wants to play the game as it was intended. I mean why would you? The story sucks ass. The mechanics are fucking terrible. The game is LITERALLY BEGGING you to hack it. Because if you don’t, you’re going to have the biggest snoozefest of your life. The game almost forces you to play it like a Garrys Mod game mode. At least when you hack it you can add hacks that don’t ALL one shot. You can add fun hacks that just make the zombies fly, or throw up infinitely stun locking them, or give yourself flaming swords, like there’s just no point to play the game as intended anymore. If you want to play legitimately, just play dying light. Is it FUN though? Absolutely. With the bois and with hacks, the game is fun. Outside of that. I just can’t imagine sitting down and having a blast with my electrified fire paddle, and sprint mechanics that make you feel as though you’re running on blocks of ice. Don’t believe me? Try sprinting, coming to an abrupt stop, and start sprinting again. Or drive at full speed, hit a little tiny curb to stop, and then start driving again. It feels like you’re on one big block of ice the ENTIRE game
Regarding the Beaconator, it takes a fair bit of grinding but the old console editions let you reset the End and Nether so if you know where chests are with Iron/Gold in the Nether Fortress, you can grind those pretty easily
