You are my favorite and best Minecraft bedrock farm maker and player in general but I really wanna see a video about fast hopper system since I made a good farm and it keeps overflowing in 30min of asking even with 4 hopper minecarts
To everyone having issues with very low spawn rates: My issue was resolved by raising the spawn spots to the original level. Digging down like in the video did _not_ work for me, I had to have the spawn spot at the exact same level as they originally were. Once I raised the spawn spot I have great spawn rates :).
@silentwisperer Fantastic farm per usual! Unfortunately, 1.19.70 has changed command formatting again. To place wool under the wither skeletons, use: execute at @e[type=wither_skeleton] run setblock ~~-1~ cyan_wool * You can change the "cyan" for any other color as long as it's in lowercase. To replace the nether brick fences with air use: /fill ~10 ~10 ~10 ~-10 ~ ~-10 air [] replace nether_brick_fence I hope this helps anyone having issues!
For spawn proofing with this farm I highly recommend foxy no tails marker resource pack. This will show you exactly where mobs can spawn so you only have to do what’s absolutely necessary❤
I'm glad I saw this.I was just about to start gathering the materials for a different, less efficient farm but then i saw this one and realised that your the most clutch person on earth when it comes to these things
Just to confirm, built this in my world as of the new update and works flawlessly. Haven’t even slabbed a third of the surrounding spawns and still have got over 6 stacks of skulls for a few hours afk.

If you are having problems with the command blocks these tips might help. 1. When you place the command blocks make sure the arrows are pointing in the same direction. Mine weren't and the wither skeletons were walking around creating wool, very annoying. 2. The new command for the purple, repeating command block with the lever is: execute at @e[type=wither_skeleton] run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ wool 3 . There is a space before the first squiggly line, between the first set of squiggly lines, after the 1 and the squiggly line, and after the last squiggly line and wool. 3 The new command for the green chain block is: /kill @e[r=100] 4. You enter the commands ''IN'' the command blocks, and not from the chat command screen. 5. Switching the world to peaceful instead of using the kill command in the chat menu to clear the spawns so you can start marking the spawns might be easier and faster.
@@thaticecube1988 Its been months since I did this, I tried my best to describe my issues. If it's syntax errors, they might have changed the command. I would look at the newest comments and see if any of them have the new command. The command might still be good, it's finicky. Quadruple check the spacing, I had trouble with it myself. Good luck.
Idk if it's a bug or not, but as of writing this, you MUST have simulation distance at 4 chunks. When testing this on my 8 sim world, I had to go around 64 blocks away to get spawns. Thought it was just mob cap or smthn so I used fill commands to clear everything from the spawn level up in a 64 block radius, buttons on everything as well, and still needed to be ridiculously far away to get spawns. Set it to 4 chunks and it worked perfectly : ) Edit: In case it's worth mentioning, I had 35 spawn spots marked out so it was NOT a spawn rate problem lol. Once hitting the distance cutoff it went ham but 0 to 100 so yeah
I have the same problem it won't work for me if I'm in the bottom of the kill chamber and I have it at four simulation chunks they still won't spawn in
If anyone's having problems with the wool not being placed then here's an easy fix! Make the kill command block have a 1 tick delay and make the command block that places the wool as repeat instead of chain. Both set on always active. Or needs redstone if you want an easy way to turn it off

FINALLY this command string WORKS. I tested it on PS4 edition (bedrock) and and can confirm it leaves white wool blocks whenever it kills a wither skeletons. Only issue is at the edge of the 100 block perimeter, they can be JUST outside of the kill radius and just spread wool blocks around like a snowman does with snow "carpet". Suggest making the radius 200 or more. Thanks for all your help, now I can continue on this build. 😌😮💨😅🤗🙏👍
first time i've taken the advice to build the farm in creative first lol. it took me a little to figure out the commands considering i've never used them before but it definitely saved me a lot of time. for anyone who wants to know, the farm works great for me and i play on xbox. (i'll be attempting to build this in my survival realm soon.) thanks for the video!
@@brokenbones623 you don't have to change the spawning platform other than making your circle. some issues may be that there is a higher platform catching the spawns, the direction of your farm may be incorrect or you just may not have spawn proofed the surrounding area well enough. if my reply is no help to you i don't mind inviting you to my world and you may dissect the farm until you find the issue with yours

I was finally about to make the last wither farm today, Just gathered all of the materials in shulker boxes. Good thing I didn't. 😂 Knew the wither roses spawn fix would change it up a bit. Now no need to be overworld and nether at the same time.
For anyone having a problem with them falling into the trident killer. Add 2 glass blocks on each side of the glass. Then build 4x2 glass blocks right across from it. This will pinch them and they will push each other down.
works beautifully, kind of a pain to build in survival with all the other mobs around, but 100% worth it! i got 25 skulls in fraction of the time it’d take to get 3
I have found with me that the buttons and trapdoors do not work for tricking the Wither skeletons into the hole but I tried coral fan and it works great
Wow, I doubt I'll ever make this, but just seeing them spawn so fast when it took me like 2 hours last night to get 3 skulls is really crazy. And that's with Looting III btw.
For anyone having skeletons stuck on the edge: move piglin closer to the glass wall and make sure it's centered. Little move can make a big difference.
I was struggling with this to the point I made a redstone clock that opens and closes 4 trap doors, worked ok..... what ended up working the best for me was the ring of slabs to accommodate the redstone around the opening and they would run right in, no need for the redstone at all 🤣

I would absolutely love something like that for bedrock but at the moment I don’t know of anyone to do it..but hey if anyone could do it it’d seem like you could. I can’t wait for his mangrove farm. This is a way to do it like the other tree farms but it takes quite a few modifications to stop bees and deal with roots.
For everyone asking why the wither skeletons leaving a trail of wool... check the arrows on the command blocks,they need to point in same direction. So if the wool command block with the lever is on the right and arrow point to te left you need to place the kill command block on the left with his arrow pointing the same way. So like this
Found a way to maximize potential with this farm, and i'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or it's just a new spawn mechanic, but the I'm having them spawn in the middle of 4 blocks, and zombified piglins keep spawning. I just kept slabs around the wither roses where they spawn, I revamped the killing chamber with a 3x3 area where there is a 3x3 trident killer at the bottom, and replaced the trap doors where they are supposed to see them as full blocks to fall down, with powdered snow, so now they don't get stuck on the side of the trapdoors. I had also added a turtle egg to the middle of the powdered snow area, so now the zombified piglins will be attracted to the center of the farm along with the wither skeletons. I moved the piglin to a 1x1 glass pane block, 3 blocks above the turtle egg, and placed a trap door under it so the wither skeletons do not have a chance of crushing the turtle egg. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem, I wish I could put a picture here with my comment so you can see what I did, but that's not possible. Great farm man, I appreciate you putting this on RU-vid for us! Edits: The turtle egg is placed onto the center powdered snow block, not in the middle. The trap door underneath the piglin still makes the wither skeletons stay on the outside of the powdered snow, so make 4 trapdoors in a surrounding type pattern of the turtle egg and glass pane, one block below the glass pane
I originally built one that only used one spawn spot and no wither roses until I found this one. only with around ten minutes I have 13 skulls even without Looting because they just spawn so fast. 32 spots REALLY helped 🔥
Make sure command blocks are on in settings. Make sure the command block arrows go into each-other. The 2nd command block just do kill @e. No need to add a radius. My wither skeletons weren’t going into the hole so I used coral fans instead of buttons and it worked better.
This doesn’t work in 1.20 anymore to anyone wondering, I used this farm before the update perfectly fine but than the update and it doesn’t work, edit it works but only if you put dirt where the wither rose is and the rose on top of that so you move it up by one
Around a year or 2 ago I thought i would try to make my own either skeleton farm with no tutorial and In survival only, I knew the corridors were better and made a good farm from it, i got a load of skulls from it, it wasn't amazing but I was proud of my monster of a farm. I had a lot of time that year
I think it would be better to build a Neather hub first so transporting supplies is easier with the added bonus of a pre built escape route (or grab an elytra if possible) it's always good to have a pre set escape route in mind, them ghast are quite annoying

I build this farm in a column, not in circle shape since the fortress i found have a 2 parallel corridors straight with 29 spawn spot each. i divided the both column into 2 so the piglin or iron golem can lure all skeleton to the trident killer
Finally. We now have an automatic stone sword farm so we have infinite weapons. We have zombie farms for infinite tools and armour and we have drowned farms for infinite food! Silent is really carrying my survival worlds
This and trident killers are the redeeming features of bedrock and are vitally important to compensate for the generally lower mob spawning rates of farms on bedrock
hey whisper I just completed the farm but I am getting hit buy the wither skeletons through the Trident killer what should I do? Also the wither skeletons are getting stuck at the top and aren't falling
I remember in one of the realms i played at, my base portal runs through a nether fortress before getting to the main nether hub, so i kill wither skellys on the way back and forth and kept the stone swords in the chests that spawned in the fortress. I expanded them when they get full. By the end of the realm, that nether fortress had so many double chests full of stone swords. That was a fun time
The wither skeletons won't spawn, I have changed the difficulty to hard and render distances to 5. I destroyed the wither roses and I still don't get any spawns. Is there a certain elevation that the farm doesn't work at?
build the farm and place the roses last. i got about 15 skulls while i was spawn proofing the fortress. you can get plenty of wither roses from just 1 wither as long as you have enough chickens (i had 3 shulkers of eggs and i got about 3 stacks of roses).
The command is not working. Repeated it twice and yes they are placed correctly and have the correct setting. The commands are also the exact same as posted in the description. I ran /kill @e and no it is not on peaceful.
I just finished building this on a realm I play on. The fortress I selected wasn't ideal - I could only manage 23 spawn spots in a 15 radius circle. I thought this might hurt the rates. But honestly, I see a near constant stream of skeletons falling into the trident killer. Just one more tip: the positioning of the piglin was a bit problematic: at first I tried to center the chest-boat on the glass pane square, but this meant that the piglin itself was off-centre, and some skeletons would not walk all the way into the drop chute. Make sure to center the piglin, and even push him a little closer to the side with the glass block wall. In any event - make sure to do a check to see that the skeletons don't get stuck, and adjust if necessary.
Just a note: for those other players slumming it on mobile devices (like me), the syntax for the setblock wool command is a bit different. rather use: execute at @e[type=wither_skeleton] positioned ~~~ run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ wool 3 all the other commands stay the same.
Feedback time :) working almost perfectly as of 26.08.2024. i‘ve built this farm and it‘s absolutely incredible! the rates are great, i have afk‘d for 2 nights and have pretty much enough skulls forever already😂 a few slight flaws i still have though, seems like button spawnproofing has some bugs since i have now seen every single mob, that can spawn in the nether, seen spawning on buttons. it rarely happens so i don‘t care since i‘m safe and sound in my AFK room. second the dirt blocks with wither roses on them and glass blocks around them still rarely spawn pigmen, but they die quickly because of the wither roses. and thirdly and probably most importantly, especially when you fixate on rates, the trident killer and therefore afk spot seems to be a bit too low. i tried many spots using a copy of the world and creative and if i place myself right i have 5-9 wither skeletons spawn at the same times in waves, all pathfind perfectly and fall to their doom. if i stand at my afk spot i only have waves of 1-3. i have 36 spawning spots & before you ask, yes i buttonproofed everything in a 30+ blocks radius around the farm (the 16x16 of the farm included so basically a 46x46+ radius) so might be worth a thought using slabs, glass or leaves (if not too close to lava or if fure spread is off) might be worth looking into them if you plan on using it, expecting rates, for multiple people or on a server/realm😊
TIL you can farm coal. I've literally been playing minecraft for 7 years and did not ever think to even look up a wither skeleton farm. IN fact I must have skipped over this at least 10 times before running out of videos to watch and figured I'd just watch it
Common errors/Why my command blocks dont work? 1.Make sure the orentation of the command blocks is correct, the Arrow on the top of the purple command block should be pointing to the Green one, and the Green one should point to its left. 2. The new commands working on 1.20 are the following: Purple Block: execute at @e[wither_skeleton] run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ cyan_wool Green Block: /kill @e[r=100]
if anyone is building this farm, remember that the spawn spots locating will take more time than You're anticipating. do the process 1 time then make a sphere covering the most spawn spots, then spawn proof those spots and go throug the command block process once again... You'll definitely find more spawn spots inside that circle for sure... on first time I got only 11 spawn spots then I did all those for 4 times and now I'm seeing 33 spawn spots inside the circle I made....
When testing for spawn spots, if you want the farm to have the same level of spots, just place blocks above the different y levels to make it flat. Wither skeletons should spawn on the higher placed blocks for the same spawn spots to make it flat (not sure if this is 100% accurate, not much testing)
Question: you said spots near the outside of the circle won't have proper movemeny for the Wither skeletons. However, what about spawning spots DITECTLY on the circle? Will those spots still have proper path finding?
If the glass blocks of a spawn spot are on the circle or outside then unfortunately they won't path find. But There's something you can do is make a 2 block high wall around the farm(including those spots in) this way they won't wander out of the farm and when they come near the piglin they'll walk towards the chute automatically.
Had to do the /kill @e command without [r=100], and delay it by one tick and have both command blocks set on repeat for the wool to place right but gettin the farm working thx!!
Finally completed the farm. I just need to spawn proof a liittle more and add a sorting system, but beyond that the farm works like crazy, already got 2 wither skeleton heads just by testing for a few minutes!
The Chain comand block wont work. Use a repeating /kill one without radius, just a /kill @e with tickspeed 1. Worked for me, the rest of the farm is INSANELY CHEAP AND SIMPLE Thanks, God of Technic Bugrock

For anyone wondering, this works in 1.20 still. Its worth spawn proofing to improve the drops, it helps massively. I spawn proofed an area of 40 blocks and removed all the lava in a 40 block radius to stop striders spawning. Some people have said to raise the spawning platforms by one, you can do it if you want, but it doesn't improve the rates. I tested both versions with 27 spawning spots for 20 minutes, and here were the results: Silents design: 6 stacks and 47 coal, 13 stacks and 32 bones and 19 heads Spawning spots moved up: 6 stacks and 45 coal, 13 stacks and 57 bones, 14 heads The variations in drops can be deduced to luck, nothing more. It seems the rates are the same either way. I tested it without looting 3 just to save on counting, however, testing it with looting 3 would have just increased the rates for both farms, and would have no made a difference when comparing.
When I built this farm as shown in video I was getting zombie piglin and blaze Spawn which weee decreasing rates alot so I raised spawn platform by one block(alot comments suggested that so) and rates improved and piglin and blazes also stopped spawning but rates are still very low compare to what's shown in video. I have spawn proofed everything in 40 block radius using foxytail pack but I still gets very low rates compare to what is shown in video . I gets around 5 stack coal, 9 stack bones and 24 either skulls after 20 min afk with looting 3.
@@redpanda8238 Hmm not sure what your issue could be exactly. You are getting the same rates as me when I didn’t have looting 3. I’d check your render distance and make sure it’s set to the lowest possible. Also I removed all the lava (which was a pain) but it massively improved drops.
@@redpanda8238 The striders affect the rates unfortunately, I didn’t lava proof at first, then I noticed rates were low. Made a copy of the world in creative and in spectator mode noticed that as soon as striders spawned the rates lowered. I removed the lava and rates were fast again :)
I’ve never wanted to put the time into creating one of these, but I’m so glad I finally did it. 1 afk sesh and I’ll probably never have to use it again if I don’t want to. ENDLESS stacks of wither skulls (as long as you set up a solid item filter) , more bonemeal potential than my previous bonemeal farm could ever produce, endless fuel / coal blocks for building. This farm is the bees knees. I’ve always wanted endless beacons and now I have it. Thank you for the video
Hi! So been working on this farm and feel followed it exactly. Have spent hours. Haha! So I am using bedrock and on a realm. So wondering if that matters. The only problem I am having is when I lay the rose down the wither skeletons never spawn. Any help would be great. Thanks!
@johnmcmahon9701 So I finally have mine working. What I did is from where the skeltons get killed in the trident killer have your viewing spot 30 to 35 blocks above it no more. So example if the skeltons fall in at 25 have the trident killer 5 spots down. Then have your viewing spot 25 to 30 above the skeltons. This is the only thing that worked for me and I have afk last night and have 7 stacks of wither heads. Hope this helps!
Idk why but wither skeletons are spawning very rarely like one every 5m, i did everything as you explained then double checked if the coordinates of the wither skeletons' spawns were right and placed slabs on all the fortress but It doesn't work, any idea how to fix? I then noticed that if i get far from the farm and the go back to It 2-3 wither skeletons spawn and then no more of them will spawn Edit: i set the simulation chunk distance from 6 to 4 and know It works
I had a similar issue that was solved by raising the spawn spots to their original Y-level. In the video Silent digs down into the floor to place the rose/glass blocks and that completely ruined spawn rates for me. Once I raised them to their OG Y-level spawn rates are excellent :).

A very usfeul tip that I do on my farm it's installing a 5 minute clock wich move me on cart 60-70 blocks away from the afk spot and Bring me back. In this way the piglins that spawn in the cave or in some points wich you have forgotten to spawnproof will despawn increasing the rate spawn of wither skeleton
