Minecraft Bedrock: New Improved Blaze Farm 3.0 Tutorial! MCPE Xbox PC

Welcome to another Bedrock Edition Tutorial! Today i show you a new improved blaze farm! This is V3, and is a very good little farm! Using a simple flying machine, we push all the newly spawned blazes into a very simple "funnel" which in turn pushes them into the kill chamber, and with some improved redstone, we sort and crush them down to one hit kill! I think I’ll stay with 2.0 for my future double blaze spawner because I have to make it slimeless (which is impossible in 3.0). I got a design to transfer the blazes with minecarts.

As of August 6, 2020, this farm works perfectly. The rates are 720 - 960 Blaze Rods per hour.

Farm is still working as of today. Finished building last night and let it run while I slept (after some mob proofing). The only mods I made to the farm was I added a trident killer at the same level as the kill chamber shown here and eliminated the crusher aspect of the farm. Farm ran for ~10 hours holding a Looting III sword. Ended up with a total of 5,649 blaze rods (~564.9 rods/hr). Not too bad considering the hardest part to build was the flying machine (first time attempting one). Thanks for this one Silent!

Brilliant! I built this yesterday, but destroyed the spawner when I was removing the glowstone. Needless to say, I was in shock for a while. Found another castle with spawners and it’s working like crazy now! Thanks!

This was such a pain to build in survival, but totally worth it. Lost a few repeaters to lava as I expanded the room as I went, so to anyone who hasn’t built this yet I’d recommend clearing enough space for everything and room to move around the red stone to modify as needed before actually building. Keep up the great content Silent!

The issue Im having is the loss of resources since you keep getting junped by Gasts. Build a giant cobble cube around you before attempting. I have lost about a stack of redstone dust to this.

Hello Silent, just wanted to give you a heads up. I have a Realm on Bedrock named Phantom Of The Deep and we use your version 2 of the farm a lot. We actually have one set up just like yours, another one modified to run on an automatic kill system using tridents, and a third system with 2 spawners running on an auto kill system. We just use water streams and bubble shafts to transport xp to where the player AFKs. It really is a neat setup and took a collaborative effort in the realm to build. We were successful after hours of trouble shooting. I have actually started building copies of your flying machine farms in my creative world the only thing that worries me is our realm lags quiet often. We have shut offs on all farms and we try to cut down on lag where we can. We are currently up to a gig as far as the size of the realm goes. Anyways thanks for the videos you've been an inspiration man just thought you might like to know your second design is capable of farming more than one spawner.

Lol so today I realized what I said was inherently wrong. I made the waterways to transport xp with broken water blocks which you use to be able to get with a silk touch pickaxe underwater. So seeing as you can’t get them anymore connecting your version 2 blaze farms is pretty much impossible like you said. Unless you have a very unlikely scenario where the spawner are close together and at the same y level. In short I’m an idiot and ignore my previous comment haha.

Works great, just made one small change so that they are killed by tridents instead of having to hit them, this way you can AFK!

It’s even better if you do that with a looting 3 sword I mean you will never need that many blaze rods but if you combine trident killing with looting 3 it gives extra loot (as silent said in another video)

Very Fine Design Sir! I'll be keeping the diamond setup you provided earlier however... with some design adjustments it was made to look like an enormous glass chandelier in one of my nether rooms. The white glass at the top fades to black at the bottom, and without any lighting has the appearance of being lit. It's an interesting optical illusion I've discovered!

I kept the 6 block distance from the spawner and added and shut off mechanism, I made it so it drops 4 lava streams down, but anyways it's a very good farm, keep up the good work!

A path finding kill chamber works just as well. As long as you drop them out of the spawner detection area immediately, then the spawn rates are the same for any design. Pushing them with a flying machine doesn't increase the spawn speed, it only gives you a problem if it breaks. Cool design though if your goal is just to impress people.

I just built this in 1.16.4 honestly, even without the flying machine it works amazingly well. I have two spaweners next to each other, and i'm not sure i'll bother with the flying machine on the second. 20 mins and I already have enough blaze rods to do pretty much anything I could think of.

Really great design! I found that replacing the glass block between the player and the blaze with a slab made it easier to reach them to kill them off. Not sure if that'll cause any issues, but it seems to be working for me so far. None of them have popped through at least. Well, no more than popped through with the glass block anyway.

evvn Hmmm double check to see if it is getting stuck on anything. You should also check to make sure the circuitry on the return side is correct, otherwise I don’t really know man. Rewatch the video and rebuild the machine along with the return system? Idk sorry I can’t be of more help

A little suggestion: You can change the obsidian for some melon blocks a much easier to obtain for those who dont want to mine for obsidian

Hey Silent, thanks for continuing to share these Bedrock tutorials! I built a very janky double Blaze farm using mine carts when I was poor at the start. Now that I have some slime, I was thinking I'd update it and give this one a go - does this still work?

Would this farm would with honey blocks instead of slime? I just found a double blaze spanner but have no slime and tones of honey. Questions is would blazes get stuck to honey and not fall into channels or kill chambers

I'm fairly certain it wouldn't work because honey blocks are partially transparent instead of solid, like slime blocks. A part of the flying machine has an observer powering a slime block into the sticky piston, this would not work for a block that does not conduct redstone signal. You can build silent's slime farm for the slime if you have the patience to mine the slime chunk out, would highly recommend this if you plan on building more farms in the future.

What would be the best way to adapt this to a double blaze spawner? Funnel them and kill them to 1 hit and then move along another track? Or move them from track to track and then funnel and kill?

usually you want 2 spawn rooms(one for each spawner), and one kill chamber:)

Great tutorial. Quick question, is the thing that makes the 2 way flying machine a bug or a mechanic. I don't have a Mesa biome nearby so I'll have to find one, so I don't want to put the effort in for it to be patched next update :)
