I was algo-recommended this video 2 years ago because I was watching him a lot, and it was useless then because I wasn’t playing Minecraft, especially not modded. Today I got impatient at the basics videos linked by the creator (the videos are good, just slower and elaborate more on the concept) and decided to RU-vidsearch tutorials. I was so pleasantly surprised to be met with this video. Simple and to-the-point. No surprise he’s grown such a channel, he was on it from the start Thank you, Grian
@@ep1k_4 well, its is quite buggy. You can put ladder and then use debug stick after that if you break the block ladder stays It isnt doing same task but does other tasks
@@HardKorKid My PC: I wouldn't recommend going over 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 blocks.
@@AI-wn1wo Are you okay there in the head? Is everything okay at home? Grian at the beginning said that he will link a tutorial in the description. Did you even watch the video at all?
oh, silly me. i wasnt using my head and just used the information from your comment (which said 1 year ago) so today is march 1st, so me being dumb i just assumed it was around 2016, march 1st and just went from there. god, aren't i stupid?
Thank you so much for this! Been aiming to build a futuristic city for ages, but with being at work a lot, I just don't have the time or the energy to do it manually from scratch. With this being on single player now instead of having to log onto a server & the addition of world painter, it's so much easier to create the landscape & the city itself to exactly how I envision it.
@Noodle For some reason Forge wasn't working for me when I used to have World Edit for my old server 7 years ago, but it worked with Fabric, so incase forge doesn't work do the fabric one it's the exact same steps and putting it into your mods folder etc.
I always use world edit GUI with it. That is a liteloader mod. It will show the region you have selected, so your less likely to mess up. It also makes command like //expand easier.
just found your channel but I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to explain WE commands in the way you did. now I'm less scared to use it on my server.
For all of you who terraform, world edit is your best friend. Simply build the shape of the terrain in a colored wool (so it stands out) and once your done, create your w/e region, making sure to get the entire build. Then do //replace 35:4 grass, obviously replacing that 4 with the actual ID (every color wool is 35).
@@spicysalad3013 it appears a part of the use normalcy of this use, like how you select a brush when using a painting application, you can make one color stronger, and you could even make inversions of that color with commands, and repeat that, and grass can be dull in vanilla, like its green but not green like trees or rosebushes
@@kennethstupid thanks man but I have seen some youtubers use creative mode in 1.7 and 1.8 u know to go to the farlands and also using teleport commands
//hcyl means that you can make hollow cylinder or //cyl for a cylinder. //sphere for a sphere and //hsphere foe a hollow sphere. Also remember that you must make your block, radius and the height of the cylinder not the sphere. like //hcyl 1 12 30
I literally have like 3 of your yt vids open rn so i can start my minecraft channel instead of my roblox channel. Your vids are so helpful keep doing what your doing!
After not knowing what black magic the RU-vidrs I was watching were using for a while(I may have tried using a wooden axe to set vanilla bedrock command positions a few times LOL) , I found out about world edit... a few years ago LOL Finally got it today and I've only used a few commands but I can feel my power level increasing. 8 years old and still helping.
Unless you don’t have plugin and only have cheat on single player and only do it manually. Use /fill command... It will literally take forever to use and learn but it’s better then nothing.
who else loves using world edit to go into a random world, and blow up a bunch of stuff by making an entire chunk tnt? This really helped me out on figuring out how to use this for my builds
"i recommend you to NEVER go over 1 million blocks" Me:.... Also me: *goes to world border and the other corner of world border and deletes 174Trillion blocks*
I must have accidentally marked every ".jar" document as Windows Media Player Files... they are all music now... "I seek help" does not suffice... this is torment.
