This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this design, it's so compact and works like a charm 🥰 Possible troubleshooting notes: 1) BEFORE PUTTING ANY LAVA - rebuild Fluid Tanks by hand. If lava is already here, I strongly recommend to remove it for time being - otherwise, you or your broken Fluid Tanks would burn. One is 1x1x3, it's near Spout, and other is 3x3x4, it's above Blazes. 2) (for create mod newbies like me) Make sure you have 3x3 shafts going horizontally on the side with Speed Controller. (or, to put simplier, look at cool moving golden-black chains in the video and make sure you have the same) For some reason, my schematic saw only 3 other shafts? And so did Schematic Cannon, and so did Clipboard, so the visual comparison with the video helped a lot 3) Pay close attention to where water is put in the video. Shaders are really pretty and atmospheric, but some people may not see Mechanical Pump being waterlogged (so it creates infinite water source with water in glass nearby) Thank you and have a wonderful Create-ing time 💜
boiler dies after a few minutes I think the mech arm doesn't pick up the buckets properly when loaded from the schematic, can you tell us what the inputs are outputs are?
@anolive7535 mechanical arm picks up bucket from the 2nd depot with the lava bucket filter funnel, then feeds the 9 blaze burners, then puts the bucket back in the 1st depot where it will sit until filled with lava
update again. it's great when it works. I have to restart it every time I leave the game and I have no clue why. Didn't really bother me that much but now it's deadass just not starting up at all and it's driving me mad 1. Lava source blocks are all there and are filling cauldrons 2. I reset the mechanical arm's inputs and outputs. First take from lava depot, then deposit to all 9 burners and deposit to empty bucket depot. 3. Mechanical pump is facing the right way when pumping water from waterlogged leaf. I light a blaze burner with lava then pump water - the indicator on the boiler moves up a bit before dying as the steam engine shafts are not starting. 4. The boiler was completely functional before leaving, providing lv9 ~150k stress units. Blocks should be in the right place. Comparing it to the schematic it seems completely fine too.
@anolive7535 did you build it over chunk borders? I've used this design on single-player and multi player, and it'd continue running when I log off or unload it. If it was built in multiple chunks, that could potentially cause issues if it gets partially unloaded
To be very clear, should I set the brass arm to pick up from the depot or the brass funnel? Currently it: 1. Picks up lava bucket, 2. Feeds any available burner, 3. Deposits to empty bucket DEPOT Should step 3 deposit to the depot or the funnel above the depot
@anolive7535 The arm is already set up from the schematic. If for whatever reason you need to reset it, the mechanical arm needs to deposit into the funnel with an empty bucket, pick up from the depot in front of the funnel with a lava bucket, and deposit into the 9 blaze burners
Does it matter which outout you use? You left the shaft of the large Cogwheel connected to the speed controller exposed which leads me to believe you can use that as an output aswell? Also is the 180rpm on the controller mandatory?
@@w1nterroll use can take power from any shafts. 180rpm is the minimum power needed for the water pump. You can max it out to 256 and use that to transfer SU
Hello! Im running into an issue where It worked just fine but when I logged off the server and came back, the blaze burners would no longer power themselves. It seems the fluid pipes connected to the lava cauldrons aren't pushing lava into the depot. Any idea why that's happening or how to fix it?
@@undercovertoni if the mini tank leading up to the spout/depot isn't correctly assembled, this can stop lava from reaching the depot. It gets messed up from schematic cannons, so if you break them and quickly replace them, it should fix the tank. When you returned, was there lava sitting in the cauldrons? Or were they empty.
@@Robadoin Yup! Just had to manually grab the small tank and replace it. For anyone else having this issue, there's a fluid tank sitting next to the lava. Just use a wrench to get to the center of it and place it again, should fix the issue. Thank you!
@@alexbueno6223 it took me a while to figure it out but there should be a tank under the top one, pick that middle one up and place it back down and it should fix
That only works with Create: Crafts and Additions, using a straw. This design is 100% base Create, so no need for addons. I also tried keeping it as small as possible, adding pipes underneath would make it larger
What isn't working? Try replacing some of the blocks for the large and small tanks, they may be bugged from being placed via the schematic cannon. If that doesn't work lmk what exactly isn't operating properly
@@Robadoin I'll be honest i have no idea how create works, im playing with a bunch of friends on a server and im trying to use schematics for the first time. However: I have tried replacing the multiblock structures because im aware they can break from prior experience The problem is thaf the engine doesn't startup in the first place even aftwr i transfer the water into the fluid tanks. I will try once again today and let you know If you have a video tutorial of building it from scratch that might help debug fhe issue
@cat-fs5xl if you're using a schematic cannon you don't need to link the mechanical arm, it should come pre-linked. The arm takes the lava bucket from the lower depot, feeds the 9 blaze burners, then puts it into the funnel with the empty bucket filter
@rothyroth fix the small fluid tanks that links the lava cauldrons to the spout by replacing the blocks, and add a bucket to the depot so lava can be moved by the mech. Arm. Also make sure pipes are connected properly.
@@Robadoin ive fixed all the tanks and pipes. the lava just gets sucked instantly and theres no heat (still at lvl 1). also i dont see a spout, arm isnt working still
