I won't lie. When I was a kid, I'd say 14 and under, I used to be TERRIFIED of any thrill ride of any form. Then one day I realized how safe Disney was and like flipping a switch I just grew to love them.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for making these videos. I found out about this server from you, and I had a nerd overload being a Minecraft and Disney fan. Watching these videos have also led me to your channel, and I've been hooked ever since. Thanks for all the videos!
The Tower of Terror is actually my favorite ride at Disney World's Hollywood Studios! I've always loved it ever since I first went to Disney World when I was in the 5th grade. My parents actually took me and my little brother out of school for a whole week to go to Disney World.
Trevor Wargo Nope, it does in fact have wheels. You might be thinking that it has no tracks, which is indeed true. It uses a system of wires embedded into the floor and a battery powered tracking system to keep the vehicle on course, but it definitely has wheels.
I rode the one in Florida at Hollywood studios ! I was so nervous ! And I got on the ride and set in the corner by myself &'we went up then stopped at a floor and watched a little trailer or w.e and so after that I just remember it dropping ! I couldn't scream! I was just stuck with my mouth open &"d my hands holding on to the seat handles ! Idk if I would do it again ! I was NOT ready !!
I know people post comments like these all the time, but you basically inspired me to play on this server (Sounds weird, i know) but just about 10 minutes ago you got on and were on soarin' and i got to get my book signed by you. That was truly awesome. Plus you gave me two emeralds and two diamonds but still, you even talked to me a little bit. I just wanted to say your awesome and keep up the good work!
I was seven and rode this ( three years ago ) and in this time I was one of the first with the bravery at the age too take on a straight downer. I hope I dont cry on the tower again! I WAS DROPPED FOUR TIMES!!!
I Am so so so obsessed with this ride and The movie to this was INCREDIBLY cute and awesome ;)Idk if you have been on mcmagic lately but they totally redesigned it and everything its so cool, and I loved how they built it so I took a ton of screenshots of theirs and built one exactly the same like it, I am just a huge fan of this ride its so amazing! :) and ur videos are so great! :D
I went to Disney World a few weeks ago. I went on the Tower of Terror. My dad said "Oh, it's just a small zero G ride! You'll like it!"... I screamed so much I felt light headed after the ride. I still blame my dad.
is there a similar series to this for Disneyland in California?? this is really cool and im always here at Disneyland and im a really big fan of all of the little back stories and details that no one else knows
well the people when they do ride to the 13th floor they do get strucked by lightning, they get electrocuted, then for some reason disappear and haunts whomever goes on that same elevator, although they close it down and finally "opens up finally for you"
I thought the tower of terror was 199 feet tall because at the time it was built the height of buildings was kept at a certain height because of earthquakes....guess not.
He did indeed pass away before the ride was built, however that's him in the pre-show. Disney repurposed footage from an old episode by cutting/rotoscoping him out and editing him over their new set.
I rode this when I was seven. I was really scared and some older kids were making fun of my picture. So I am not fan of that ride. I'll try it when I get the chance.
I have some qustions about this rides exterior. how on earth did the sign get where it is now? look at the billboard on sunset boulevard. the sign is way higher than it is on the real building because there are extra towers there. the other question is, what building is that in the preshow? because that is NOT the same as the ride building look at the two of them side by side and you'll realize they are completely different buildings. say what you will about the California one not being as good as Florida but at least the building makes sense and is consistent
thx for the awesome vids, can anyone go onto this and go on the rides? is it on pc or xbox? im sry but im new to minecraft and I love Disneyland so minecraft and Disneyland is awesome!
wait.. the story is so much different from japan. i always thought that it was in NewYork city, and the owner always stole valuable architecture from all around the world. One day he stole this curst doll, and he road on the elevator with it, and it fell down. and we go through all the things he stole, and on the way going to the 13th floor to "try to figure out his secrets" he just drop 3 times? and thats it.
No this was from the twilight zone (a movie) in Hollywood where a little girl, woman, man, and I think old people were jn the elevator and thee elevator is cursed so it has lightning in it and it opens like it's haunted (in real life)
Kaitlyn Andpeyton Nigel is right in that the Japanese version of the Tower of Terror has a different backstory than the US version. I should also clarify that Disney are the ones who made up the Twilight Zone backstory for the US Tower of Terror. There was never any episode of the Twilight Zone with this specific story. Imagineers actually stitched together old footage of Rod Serling and used an impersonator to make up this story from scratch. Interested because that makes it based on the Twilight Zone, but at the same time original! :)
In fact the scene was taken from Season 3 Episode 8 "Its A Good Life" Also the original Tower Of Terror building is in Orlando Florida in the Disney Hollywood Studios.
Up 1feet travel forward for the twilight zone and backwards and then up 2feet and you see the hallway and then go up3feet and 3feet and you see the hole of Hollywood studio and drop and then the guy says well done for those of you who have made it.byee!
Candy Shop Kawaiis It's the other way around actually! The ride itself is based on the Twilight Zone, and in order to help promote the parks and the ride, a made-for-TV movie was made about it.
+Rob Plays That Game I didn't like the movie. It had NOTHING to do with the Twilight Zone. The only thing I liked was the drop scene at the very end and the part where they disappear at the beginning. The ride is better.
+My Colleen cookies Maunder Nope! Expedition Everest tops out at 199.5 feet, which is just six inches taller than The Tower of Terror which is 199 feet even. They're both pretty tall, but Everest just beats ToT out. Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone_Tower_of_Terror "At 199 feet (60.7 m), the Florida version is the second tallest attraction building at the Walt Disney World Resort, shorter only than Expedition Everest's 199.5 feet (60.8 m)"
