I just improvised the farm mechanism with the old one with the zombie. For me, golems were spawning at very less rate without the zombie, but it started to work once I got one beside the villager chamber. Rest works fine :)

For those wondering. Bedrock would require 10 villagers, 10 beds, and 10 workstations that they can access. The rest of the build should work otherwise, except you may need to expand the leaves.

This actually works in java but you have to place slabs on the top of the leaves then iron golem will spawn in the cage. Otherwise golem will spawn on the leaves

wanna make the iron farm run event faster? trap a zombie, nametag it so it doesnt despawn, then put it down by the villagers so they can see it, but it can't hit them. the villagers will panic, and cause iron golems to spawn even faster
