For aesthetics it might be nice to have an underground subway station where all your minecarts come in to deliver resources and where you could hop in a minecart yourself to travel to the drills when necessary. Then you can have your factory above ground with big buildings and fancy structures and have a big underground warehouse where all the raw resources are delivered before being distributed around the factory.

Best to get him hooked on a minor challenge first, say, diving headfirst, blind, into rampant, like I did. Or another, even less challenging in the soul shattering direction, but more technically. If it happens, he'll figure it out.
@@mridontknow4586 Seablock ? Why not jump directly into Pyanodon's while you're at it ?! Start him on the base game first, then climb the complexity ladder with : -Krastorio, -Industrial Revolution, -Bob's and Angel's, -Space Exploration, -Seablock and conclude with Pyanodon's once he's had a few thousand hours behind him.
@Soken50 I have a feeling he didn't mean immediately as his first challenge. However, your list is good, despite possible problems arising from issac's nature. He doesn't usually, if ever, play unmodded games, as well as his penchant for automation already, base factorio might be somewhat off-putting from its similarities to what he already does.
@@Soken50 Sorry about the possible second ping, but I'm not sure the first one went through, as on my side, it didn't look like it. If we do get him started, though, who knows what we'll see.

You'll just have to get used to using the Morphing tool though. Keep using it on the morph mode and let it auto morph into the tool for the mod you're looking at. Works almost all the time and is much easier than your eternal inventory issues. :P
It's a preference thing, I enjoy having the actual tools in my inventory in my hand so I don't need to worry about it switching if im working with smaller hitboxes
Hay nice, Someone is doing a play through of this pack. I just finished it last week myself and enjoyed every minute of it. One of the first packs I've completed too. Have fun with this one. If you plan on using the Arch Furnace later on in automating ore processing, I would recommend changing the config for the Graphite Electrodes to have more HP. For some reason, You're unable to automate the insertion of the electrodes in to the furnace.
15:24 you can change the engineer's hammer to the middle slots (next to the crafting table) so it won't end up appearing that you need 64 of them but rather that they're needed for the process but reusable
Hey @GDC_ I know this was a month ago, but you can make the calculator register the engineer's hammer as a reuseable item! If you click on the hammer in the GUI, and change the # symbol to a %, and change 100, to 1, it'll do 100 uses before adding another hammer! (The Engineer's Hammer has a durability of 100 for plates!) Will be watching the rest of the series as I can ^^ Keep up the amazing videos!

btw you can press f3 to show you which chunk you are in, to more easily find the high density ore clusters (the scanner shows you a chunk location which is coordinates for the chunk)

It would be to have a running tally of all the research through the whole play through and how much is produced per episode. Like say the next tier research requires 8 green to make one of the next level and he made 2 of say yellow. It would be like... 2 yellow 16 green.
Can anyone remember the 3 RU-vidrs that played together one had a Viking with ginger beard as his pfp and they played modded Minecraft about 2015 had laser drill and pipes and they built a rocket on one of there episodes
