You should try a specific “what to do with blank walls” to help us choose when to add paintings or shelves or an accent wall or pillars. Maybe also for exterior walls. Because I’m sure I’m not the only one that watches tons of videos, but still finds myself helpless when I need to do something to a boring wall.
I’d recommend buddies that you guys kinda throw shelved with flower pots and barrels around and then some smaller paintings here and there really experiment
Omg, Thank you soo much for this I really struggle with interior and end up keeping barrels and carpets everywhere but this definitely helped me Thank you soo much : )
Beautiful use of vertical space and I love how you're able to keep rooms busy but not cluttered by their decorations. Just the kind of inspiration I was looking for. Great work, and thank you!
this video makes me so happy. When I saw the lever being used in the workshop I immediately thought of a pestle and mortar - so I've used one with my brewing area too - thank you!
Wow! I consider myself decent at interior, but I'm always surprised at how people can find new and creative ways to put rooms together. Well done Blue! P.S. 28:10 Missed chance to put some dyed leather armor there. Realistically, not every medieval peasant would have mutliple sets of armor, but they would have tunics :p
I really like the way you've used fences to look like a rolling ladder in the library. Also, I've never thought of using the beehive to look like drawers/desk storage before.
All of them look so comfy and cozy. It always blows my mind seeing blocks being used in the most unexpected way. It inspired my creativity and I learnt a lot from these designs. Love it!
Kitchen design, Garden room, and the Main hall were my favorites! I love Minecraft, and this was so awesome to just watch u build all of this🤩😲🤯 Alslo very inspiring, I'm gonna try one of these!!!!
What a fantastic walk thru with ideas on the interior design work. I always seem to lack ideas on the interior stuff (example being my spawn house on the server) and this is just fantastic for all sorts of rooms with even a little modification to what is in there. I love the two level designs in the rooms themselves as that gives a nice warm feeling. Today I actually watched you interior design on the inn that was also great. You just have such a brilliant mind for doing this stuff and your builds still blow me away even if they are interior ones. My hats off to you sir. Keep up the fantastic work and hope to see you again one day on the server. Let those beautiful videos roll. 😁☕️
Thank you so much David, interiors can be tough to come up with sometimes and I often find the hardest part is keeping them different as it's so easy for them to become repetitive without meaning to (like me and spruce wood, lol) , I'm glad you enjoyed the showcase. I have loads of stuff on the way as I've been working on several new ideas and the build series is ready too. Hopefully I should get a chance to get on the server this week as my kids are half term break, thanks buddy =)
Beautiful designs ❤️ I know you don't remember everyone in your comments but I was one of the first viewed you had,. I first saw you in my mother's computer. I didn't subscribe because my mom doesn't want me to do it because it wasn't my account. I love seeing channels grow like you ❤️, hope you get 1 mil subscribers ✨. Never stop doing content that you love.
You have no idea how well timed this video was for me. I am new to Minecraft and was feeling frustrated that I always seemed to make buildings too small or too big for a good interior. So this video really helped me wrap my head around the process better. My dream is to make a huge modern-style mega base/mansion. Your videos have been the single biggest inspiration to my desire to build. Thank you!
Though I enjoy quick visual tutorials, I now realize how much I enjoy the way you explain the methods behind your deigns. It makes me think more about the space and it is more memorable. Great video, thank youuu!
This was a really inspirational video! There are some really cool ideas here, and it has given me one or two of my own! My favourite rooms have gotta be the Garden room, Storage room (especially this one, love the cupboards) and I think the Brewing room. Fantastic video!
im good at building a house and all the exterior but once im finished, go inside and just see empty rooms i have no idea what to do so i just stop building it
@@BlueNerdMC It looks like it! I'll have to remember the beehive and lectern desk idea. With clay being renewable in 1.19, it'll be so much easier to use terracotta.
Very good ideas ! I love to watch your tutorials (and follow them or not) while I'm building. I'll be inspired of this video for my next builds, for sure ! Once again, thanks a lot !
Love these designs, I also love that he is still replying to comments even nearing 500k subs. Plz try to never change that about you it's what makes you my favorite RU-vidr.:)
Wow! All these designs look very cozy and nice, well done! My favorite has to be the library, it's just there's something about it that makes it so cool. Maybe on the second floor you could add an enchanting room, since it's in a library!
wow, I love your designs! They look like rooms you might see in a cottage in the woods or an older castle! They look very realistic. Thanks for the ideas!
I think you might just be my new favourite go-to RU-vidr for Minecraft designing! These rooms and your ideas are crazy incredible. You have a way of making something as simple as a bedroom so fascinating and comfy. Keep going!
I have recently found your channel and I have to say, I absolutely love your builds and inspiration videos! It always just makes my mind explode how people think outside the box. That dragon egg lamp is something I have never seen anyone else think of. I would never have thought to be as creative as you have. Thank you so much for your inspiration! Really gets my gears turning. Also, your build palettes for your rooms are absolutely beautiful! I always forget about terracotta and concrete when building.
Fabulous ideas here #Blue 👌 love them all specially the bathroom,I must say tho the one colour different wall is awesome I actually do do that, your on java you get to do afew different ways of doing stuff like, some of it we still can't do on bedrock 💯🙏
Amazing video! Thanks so much for making this one, I struggle with interiors so much. I can never seem to get the room size right. When I make a structure, it’s a lot of room but with a lot of empty space. I can’t seem to understand where to place rooms, or how to design the shape of the rooms. I end up with plain square rooms with a hallway and empty space.
Beautiful Ideas!!!✨ Thank you!!!Question: I noticed all your rooms here are 9 blocks wide, including any support pillars, plus the 2 blocks for colored interior walls. Is this your secret for rooms that look both cozy And balanced? (Especially using the double-thick interior/exterior wall method?)
Thank you Lisa, I don't usually stick to 9 block wide interiors as it really depends on the build but I do find that making rooms more compact is a great way to make them feel more cozy. Adding a bit of color to the walls is always a great way to make them feel more homely too =)
Thanks buddy, i'm glad you like them. Yes in the bathroom I use dead bubble coral and dead fire coral in a check pattern on the wall, they seem to work really nice in that pattern =)
@@BlueNerdMC They really have a gorgeous texture as a wall. Never crossed my mind to try that, thanks as always for the inspiration. I literally cannot go back to my old roof style because of you, granted I add my own flare but you definitely inspired it.
I'd love if they added some way to dye walls different colors on each side. I'd love to build rooms with different colors compared to the outside, but everytime I do the house always feels so large on the outside since the walls are two blocks thick.
I struggle with the same issue, though I usually feel that my inside rooms are too small with double-thick! I think it’s a special skill we just need to keep experimenting with until we find what we like!
@@heavyq I noticed all of BlueNerd’s rooms are 9 blocks wide, including columns, plus the terra-cotta wall on either side (total interior 11). I’m gonna try this as the “magic formula” for room size!💖
