Imagine playing Minecraft and all of a sudden this starts playing.

The fact you can clearly hear bells, choir and a church organ make this sound even more incredible, and don’t get me wrong, the original was great too

This is a legitimate masterpiece

Church organ is criminally underrated and I cannot describe how happy it makes me to hear someone utilize its power in a song.

I like how they're guarding exactly a stack of gold blocks

I never even thought of what Pigstep would sound like as an intense orchestral piece. This is great!

This really encompasses the piglins really well. They live in what is basically hell and protect what few things they have with brutal strength in this desolate wasteland.

Steve had lit the portal 5 days ago. 5 days it had been, since he got lost in the Nether. As he aimlessly wandered through the endless wastes, he spotted a grand structure in the distance. As he got closer he recognised what it was. With walls darker than the deepest of caves, only illuminated by the reflection of shiny blocks of pure gold spread across the building, it could only be one thing. Steve's grandfather used to tell stories about these. Giant, ancient fortresses, constructed to withstand sieges unheard of in the overworld. Guarded by merciless beasts, whose thirst for blood is only triumphed by their deranged love of gold. Steve couldn't blame them. Gold is afterall . . . bewitching. He headed straight for the bastion, as his grandfather used to call them, grabbing his dilapidated pickaxe from his backpack. As he approached the entrance, he could see straight in to the main vault of the building. Steve had never seen that much gold in one place before. He wanted to run in there and take it all, keep it as his own. What is a man to use such quantities of gold for? No one knows. The only thing we know is greed makes man blind and foolish, and makes him an easy prey for death. Steve ran in. Even though his rations were almost empty, and he was likely to die of dehydration, if not heat stroke, he still ran in, blinded by the gold, dedicated to take it with him back to the overworld. What Steve was unaware of was that he would never make it back to his home in the other dimension, nor would he ever step foot outside of the bastion itself. The moment his mind fell on a decision outside those gates, his fate was sealed. For the gold-loving beasts of the bastion, play no games. None who enter their sacred building, shall leave with their gold, nor their lives. Edit to add to story, cus this blew up: Steve didn't have the time to grab more than a golden nugget, before he felt a sharp pain in his back. As he looked down on his bloody stomach, he noticed the head of a crossbow bolt poking through his skin. He had been shot! Steve fell to his knees. His hand slowly losing grip of the golden nugget. Before him, two feet appeared. He looked up one last time, to see the most blood-curdling creature he had ever seen, towering over him. It looked like a wild boar, except it was humanoid, standing on two feet. Its tusks were badly damaged, and its skin mutilated with scars and blemishes. In its right hand, it held the sharpest axe Steve had ever seen. If he didn't know what material it was made of, he would have thought it was obsidian, like the fabled macuahuitl, known for being able to cut off the head of a horse with a single blow. But no, Steve knew what the axe was made of. It was made out of the material everything else in that damned place was made of; gold. . . Not only was it sharp, it was also engraved with the most beautiful art he had ever layed eyes upon. So detailed and exquisite he couldn't believe how these primitive creatures could be responsible of such craftsmanship. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't, nonetheless, Steve didn't ponder on the origin of the blade. He could only admire it, as it travelled higher and higher, till it stopped, raised above the head of the creature. Then it fell. Only then did Steve realise how foolish of a decision it was to enter the bastion. Looking back on his grandfather's tales, he should have been more wary, but yet, he wasn't. Was it the thirst for gold that controlled his decision-making? Perhaps. Or maybe it was the unbearable heat of the underworld that had fiddled with his rationality. We can continue to speculate on the intention of Steve's actions that day, but truth is, we will never know for sure. The only thing we know, without doubt, about the day Steve entered that grim locale, is that he drew his last breath there. Though perhaps it was for the best. We all know too well what a Minecraft player is capable of.

This somehow makes more epic the ''one man army raiding a bastion'' than it really is.

Pigstep was meant to be a cool, dubstep music. Turning it into an orchestra gives it this kind of, kingdomish feel. It's like an anthem of piglins or something they would sing when forging equipment. It sort of reminds me of Erebor from The Hobbit. I feel like this fits the best for the Nether Update trailer. Keep up the good work, bud.

You try to speak, but you can only wheeze. *you only hope that you die before that flying white creature comes to eat you.*

As he approached the fortress Steve looked to his dog, worrying for his companions safety. The fortress loomed above him, watching over the wastes. It’s sheer presence keeping out intruders. Scorched skeletons and cubes of magma roamed it’s halls, protecting the ancient treasures within. As he neared its lair, Steve could smell the withering flesh of hoglins slain by the beast within, reminding him of what was to come.

How to kill a warden: 1. Spawn 100 piglins 2. Wait for the warden to attack the piglins 3. *Watch the piglin onslaught ensue.*

This is so awesome! It’s super nice and the composition is perfect with nether-hellish and boss vibes, truly a grand and dramatic cover of this awesome song! Not to mention the choir that just ties it all together! Definitely something I will listen to a lot!

So, one time, I was playing on a Minecraft factions server that I really liked, and decided to go hardcore. I would never get on the server when I died. It went well for a while, my little brother gave me his entire full chest of totems, and I even had my own glitched iron pickaxe that could mine spawners! but, still. So, I ended up being able to get to the nether, and I needed pearls to escape danger; so I traded with the piglins for a while. _Oh boy, Hoglins are dangerous. they took more than 3 totems from me._ Sadly, I died to one, but not the way you'd expect. So, I was trading with a piglin, when a hoglin came up to me and *_broke my gold armor!_* Depressingly, totems don't heal you to enough health, so *the piglin killed me since my gold armour broke.* _R.i.p._

The people who disliked this video are the people who don't have gold armour.

Absolutely amazing! Pigstep was my favorite disc but now this is absolutely stunning! You’ve definitely captured the feeling of the Nether perfectly, that no one can argue about.

wow, orchaestralizing this song made it sound even MORE industrial than it did already!! (also i'm always a sucker for intermittent carillon/church bells use in songs) it sounds exactly like what you might hear if you stumbled upon a vast underground city. impressive work!!!

This sounds it’s part of a scene in a Mimecraft movie that’s introducing the Nether

O H H M Y G O S H this gave me chills and goosebumps SO MANY TIMES

The Nethers boss, The Demon of Temptation. A nether ginormous zombie piglin covered in Enchanted Netherite Armor and Enchanted Golden weapons. And extremely health and damage infliction. Whats standing between you and the boss is the way out of this hell realm because of the scroll of endless materials. The scroll is a legendary Artifact made only and soley from the Nether and only one can be found. The scroll can summon any materials by two stacks of materials you need, but has a 6 minecraft day cooldown. Using it constantly could burn the scrolls power, and to use it you must sacrifice 25 levels experience. When the overworld residents found out about this scroll people because obsessed with the scroll. But when they gotten their hands on them they transformed into Piglins with no memory of why they're here but only one reason is to protect the gold and scroll for their God/Demon. This was the "gods" punishment for others being greedy pigs on trying to take the scroll for selfish needs, thus being fed up with the humans Temptation for power, the Demon hid the scroll with a map buried deep in the Nether realm in the many fortresses that was made for them. Hence finding the scroll the 'god' angered by this humans resistance on finding it, blocks every portal connection to the overworld realm and removes the player of its obsidian, and flint and steel for a long battle. The piglins wanting to resist fights you too sending a huge swarm of them coming at you. This was the Nethers 1 of 7 "gods", this was the "God"/Demon of Temptation. Oh and the reason why we don't transform into Piglins is because the gold armor, the gold is like a holy Artifact to piglins and the gods of the Nether, so using gold from the overworld as armor doesn't transform you into piglins.
