the 2nd world introduced me to this channel, and actually was one of the things that inspired me to get minecraft. the wave of nostalgia from that title alone was something i've never experienced before.

I recently got back into watching Hermitcraft and in doing so, I realized how much I missed your presence there, and on your own channel. I can't blame you for taking a step back though; RU-vid is certainly a fickle mistress :( I hope you've been doing alright and I'm excited to hopefully see more from you in the future, at your own pace. Thanks for being the reason me and my brother got into Minecraft, about 7 years ago now! I hope I don't make you feel old when I say that I wasn't even a teenager then, but now I'm a legal adult and, throughout that time, Minecraft has stayed an important part of my life, because of you!

I for one would love a new vanilla lets play! Come on dude! We want you back! I liked comment and did all that stuff!

Any chance you'll ever return to Hermitcraft? This channel was quite frankly a staple of my childhood, your videos introduced me to both Hermitcraft and, in part, Minecraft. It'd be amazing to see you on the server again. It's gotten to the point where you're sort of a legendary figure to the hermits; in season 5 Xisuma built your cocoa bean farm, and referred to you as something along the lines of 'an old hermit who disappeared off the internet a long time ago.'

I used to avidly watch this LP as a kid.

Piston Bolts were invented by test137E29 and popularized by UltimateRedstone. Then some guy made a guide for them which seems to have somehow remained relevant for 3 years :D They've always been finicky but timings/using sticky pistons with blocks etc. has always seemed to fix it.

Monkey, idk if I can speak for anyone else since I'm an old person (31) but I think if you started a fresh single player vanilla LP you could probably scoop up a bunch of new viewers. Either that or try hopping on a multiplayer server. Not sure what your relationship with the old hermitcraft folks is, but they're all raking in stupid amounts of views. Not trying to tell you how to minecraft lol but I'm a long time sub and I really miss seeing your creative content in vanilla. You were the first minecraft channel I subbed to after all and I'd totally be down to watch more content from you!

Hey Monkeyfarm, you should go back to hermitcraft. I've watched you back in 2013 and i really think it would be awesome if you came back in season 7 or 8.

My theory on why the create videos stopped working. . You introduced us to something new and really cool: Create mod You showed us what is possible in it, and we got hyped to play and watch some more gameplay. We tried to play create, but there is no support for 1.12 and 1.15 is still on development. So, for most of us... no Create. Then your create gameplay was isolated to your twitch schedule, so only those online and with time to watch at your specific streaming schedule would actually get to enjoy your always wonderful minecraft gameplay. . So, we got bored because we didnt get what we actually signed for in the first place. Your legendary gameplay videos. And we stopped watching them, since tutorials are not useful without the ability to play the mod ourselves. . The problem with 1.14 you ask? Well, the modding community is still highly stuck on 1.12. If you want to enjoy Create, you have to abandon ALL the other cool mods and also your current world just to play this one mod. That's asking for a LOT, really. . Start a youtube Create gameplay series and I bet tons of us will watch it. We love you for your gameplay anyway, just like the old days of your second world.
