In his analysis of his duel with Dream he mentions on how Dream is trying to stress him out, but it doesn't work because Techno is always stressed. Now that this is done, I REALLY need to recommend his entire skyblock playlist, along with his "ruining a $36,000 minecraft tournament" video As for your questions, I'll start here: Techno didn't really go dark for a year. He went dark for a few months, but everyone just chalked that up to techno being techno. Once the first potato war video came out, he started flooding out videos about SMP earth, where he single-handedly conquered the entire planet. Squid DID private the island, but only in response to the server bug, after technoblade trolled him into thinking he'd found another way to sabotage him. Once squid realized that, he opened it back up again Techno didn't have access to knowledge ahead of time, no. Especially because the hypixel staff were aware of this going on, and definitely would've made sure to not give any information to one side and not the other Also, Technoblade started farming potatoes in like... August 2019 I was actually in his livestream on the day he hit 500 million. It was hype.

38:25 it means is that the external buffs like farming crystals etc don't improve the output by yielding more potatoes but it decreases the time for minion action, so each minion is working faster. So output is not getting increased by 30% but the time to yield potatoes by minions is decreasing by 30% that means now the minions are working 30% faster. That means now you are getting 1/0.7 (70% of 1) boost

for the SMP saga, I'd recommend starting with two fan animatics actually! They've become events in the fandom when they were released. "The Dream SMP War" and "The Fall". They're both by SAD-ist, and EXTREMELY well done and detailed. They act basically as trailers for the SMP, and watching them again after you know what's happened to see what you can can catch is honestly really fun. It'd be a good way to see what you've learned

I highly recommend you react to Technoblade's "Skeppy tries to troll me but I troll him first". Skeppy is another Minecraft RU-vidr who is actually on the Dream SMP and he recently blew up making "trolling" videos on some of his friends. He decided to try to make one with Technoblade, who kept outplaying him and completely ruining the video, making for a really fun final product. It also shows Technoblade's 10,000 IQ, of course.

“The Dream Smp” is a much broader subject than the potato war, so reacting to it may be difficult. I would advise reacting to highlights and summaries made by the members, and once you get to know all of the “characters” then reacting to SAD-ist’s two animations about the SMP story. SAD-ist also made an animation on the Dream vs. Technoblade duel- I would advise watching that after you do the original mr beast video. Most of the Dream SMP community is absolutely enthralled by SAD-ist and I would love to see what you think about her work!

The world record holder for the largest MMORPG to ever be built in Minecraft to this day is still Wynncraft. And it's gotten so much larger than when they gave it that award to. I highly suggest you check out the online map overview. It's taken the team years upon years to make, and it doesn't even use mods.

You should react to Wilbur soot’s every 5 minutes the water level rises, it’s worth it

Potatoes in Minecraft is a super food. I go out of my way to grow them whenever possible. Unlike carrots, to where you'd have to eat 3 or 4 X the amount to reheal any lost hearts, you would only need one or two baked potatoes. To any potato farmers, useful tip. Use a campfire to freely bake potatoes without using any kind of fuel. Very efficient. The smoker is overrated.

I think the reason why the rabbit pet buffed so much is because it is a multiplicative bonus as opposed to an additive since it was affecting the delay directly. Playing borderlands 2 you learn a lot about multiplicative bonuses vs additive since a lot of items and skills in the game affect your total damage in different ways. Also it's like the crit multipliers of jacobs snipers vs dahl snipers (jacobs have a naturally higher crit type B bonus of 0.30 which is multiplicative opposed to additive), It all comes down to one small detail of multiplicative multipliers increasing value exponentially. To explain with numbers i will say you have a 150% bonus to damage and you have a 8% increase to that damage through a skill you unlocked. If that bonus is additive then you would have 158% increased damage after the buff, However if that bonus is multiplicative then it is instead a 162% increase of damage. The 8% vs 12% bonus is due to additive being a flat increase to output and multiplicative is the bonus damage that is 8% of the total damage before the new skill was unlocked. So coming back to the potato minion buff, since the buff affected the delay i am assuming it applies that buff after the affects of all the other buffs that his farming crystal and the other things gave it gave a bonus based on some complex equation that calculated the bonus you gain from each buff based on the order you got them as opposed to all the other bonuses being flat bonuses. My call is a bug when creating the bonuses equation for the new pet update or a way to make it so pets are more valuable to have. But what do i know? that's just a theory based on previous gaming experience.

I love your energy and approach to reacting to these videos, but one thing in your editing that I notice is that sometimes (at least to me) the music tends to be a little too loud. To me at these times it seems like it should be background music, but yet it pushes your voice to the background even though that should be the focus. It isn't really problematic, but it does take away from what you're saying in those moments. (I also have no idea how easy it is to fix/prevent such a thing, so sadly can't really give a possible solution, but thought you might appreciate the feedback.)

The Minecraft Championship (MCC) Squid taunts Techno about losing is tomorrow (Nov. 14th, 3pm EST). It's a monthly mini-game tournament; Techno is taking this one off, but Dream, George, Sapnap, etc are all participating.
