Minecraft's Amalgam: Every Mecha Sonic in One! 

The fact that it’s a Combined form of every single Robot Sonic, and uses S3&K Mecha as a base just makes me feel like it’s not just a unique design, but a slight reference to Mecha’s origins in Super Mario Z.

The sonic dlc from last year was alright but I’m so glad we finally got a proper sonic texture pack. It’s just fun to explore these worlds in Minecraft’s sand box setting.

The Sonic Texture Pack looks really good. Amalgam Mecha Sonic is such a cool design and concept. I could see this design being implemented in the IDW Comics if Mecha Sonic ever decided to upgrade his body and uses the parts from previous Mecha models to become stronger.

the best part about Minecraft is you don't even have to "git gud" at it, there's a whole side of the community that uses the blocks to make crazy pixel art in creative mode, and that's just ONE of the thousands of different ways to play it, so i hope you have lots of fun playing the game in all kinds of different ways

I can totally see this as the next evolution of Scrapnik Mecha Sonic, and I really hope we see more of this design in the future. Maybe not as a villain, but as a secondary antagonist who ends up butting heads with Sonic due to his own mission and goals, similar to how Knuckles did in the past.

So if the concept artist looked at your mecha march maddness videos then that means you helped influence an official Sonic crossover unintentionally. I find that funny.

That waistband part of the art for the amalgamating Mecha looks ro be silver Sonic's eye piece keeping the legs and torso altogether

with all those parts mashed together makes me think of Scrapnik Mecha, but revived and back in action (also the first design after summoning, also reminds me of Scrapnik Mecha)

I personally think AmalgaMecha literally murdered every other sonic robot, and used their parts to build himself again, kind of like a bad ending of scrapnik Mecha

I think it’s cool how the Sonic Adventure bot’s limbs are placed in the exact same spots that Scrapnik Mecha Sonic’s limbs are missing, easy detail to overlook but really shows how thoroughly this design was thought out

Amalgam Mecha Sonic makes me think of Megamix from the Crash Bandicoot series, where in a GBA game 4 of the main villains from the series get mixed as one, Neo Cortex, N. Gin, Dingodile and Tiny Tiger Since this game is apparently separated from the old timeline, the one that Crash 4 It's About Time replaced where Crash 4/Wrath of Cortex, Crash 5/Twinsanity and then Titans and Mind Over Mutant were the continuation of Crash Bandicoot 3, and also still not canon to the main universe from the new timeline as well (even tho being part of a different dimension, at least it has posters of him on the desert dimension, since Crash 4 has this thing of having different dimensions and time periods) I think Amalgam Mecha Sonic could be a similar case, idk if from the main timeline or an alternate, because I really think Scrapnik Mecha Sonic is a really cool path to Mecha Sonic go, having being restored at the crashed version of the OG Death Egg by Sigma and learned how to become a good person and continue for his own reasons I also have a headcannon/Theory that Mecha Sonic from Sonic Adventure, even being called "Mecha Sonic MK. III" is still actually the same as Sonic 2's Genesis Mecha Sonic, but upgraded/modernized, since both have similliarities to Mecha Godzilla, so in that Theory that's why there is not a Scrapnik version of the Sonic 2's Mecha Sonic, even tho he was destroyed at the Original Death Egg in Sonic 2, the Death Egg that is crashed at Scrapnik Island at the present moment in the Sonic series, there is no Scrapnik Mecha Sonic MK. I in my theory because he is no longer in the Death Egg but instead is now forgotten on the abandoned Final Egg on Mystic Ruins, or in another location if Eggman even removed him from there after leaving Final Egg

I wonder if they had super Mario bros z on their mind when making amalgam mecha sonic because the mecha from smbz was also a combination of different sonic robots

It unironically kinda looks like MetalX from Mario bros Z, which is cool because they’re also a fusion of all the metal Sonics

I finally got the pack myself (and am working on a fanmade SFX addon) and love the little details of the textures themselves. Plus, they will be updating it for future versions!

This Texture Pack feels like a complete visual overhaul! And the Mecha Sonic in this Minecraft Texture back being an Amalgam is straight up amazing! I tried it out and all my Expectations were exceeded! 100/10 the texture pack truly a masterpiece!

I’d love to see more Sunset City Minecraft. It can definitely be weird to get into, but it really is a game with limitless possibilities. I’ve always enjoyed building Zelda and Sonic-like levels within my worlds, and this pack makes that a lot more interesting.

The phase 1 amalgam mecha color scheme reminds me of Furnace from the Sonic.exe v3 mod for FNF.

Makes sense that the boss made of multiple Mob’s part, was reskinned to be 3&K’s Mecha Sonic combined with the parts of other robots like in Scrapnik.

Looking at Amalgam's concept art, it kinda makes me think of Amalgam as a sort of extension or continuation of *Scrapnik* Mecha. There's some small details that are similar between the comic and the Minecraft bot, mainly the chipped metallic quills that seem *very* reminiscent of Scrapnik's general design, as well as the simple fact that both share a sort of theme of being cobbled together of various mechanical parts outside of the original Mecha design. It'd be really cool to have something like a Scrapnik Island 2 where Mecha is somehow forced to be mixed in with all these different robots and then has to deal with his new form. Maybe such a story could even implement the Super Amalgam form, complete with the original Mecha's development in Scrapnik Island to save the day somehow? Or I'm just daydreaming. That's also possible.

I'll be collecting insurance from this.

Given Mecha Sonic/Metallix in SMBZ was a Metal Sonic who merged with Silver/Robo Sonic and Mecha Sonic, I'm just imagining dimensional shenanigans occur where Shard and a repaired IDW! Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles merge together to face off against SMBZ!Mecha Sonic and barely surviving when Archie Sonic arrives.

Here's my idea for a comic story for the mechamlagam (for context I haven't played any sonic game but forces and I haven't read the comics myself) On scrapnik island more mecha sonics start showing up completely trashed and the robot (I forgot the name of) who normally repairs them was disappointed to find he could repair them due to missing parts but thhen mecha sonic made a suggestion, they could put their parts on him including their programming so that way they could in a way be given a second chance like the other scrapniks without needing to find the replacement parts effectively upgrading scrapnik mecha while helping other mechas at the same time, so they do just that and it ends up with all the personalities present in mecha and sure they don't all always get along but for the most part they accept that scraonik mecha is the leader as it was his idea to merge and they usually let him pilot the body unless he ask somone else to takeover for awhile or they ask permission to takeover for awhile, who's in control can be seen by the color of mecha sonics visor (for anyone confused by the split minds basically its like ennard from fnaf) This becomes relevant to sonic because as established in the past he has a psychic connection with mecha sonic so after mecha merges with the others sonic starts having weird dreams where he's transported to a Court like room where all the past mecha sit at podiums and stare at sonic judging him and whispering about "what is He doing here" then on the 5th night sonic has another dream in the same place but this time it's only scrapnik mecha except he looks different to how sonic members him, mecha explains how and why he merged with the other mechas and he explains whenever a personality is control all the others are in a mental court room they formed where they vote on ideas and plans allowing for hightened efficiency by having all plans be premeditated but because of sonic's mental link he was getting pulled into the court every night and unfortunately the other mechas haven't forgiven sonic for trashing them, while mecha wad in control all the others came to a vote and decided sonic has to go and they knew mecha would disagree so they all teamed up to overpower him and forcibly hijacked the body and now there was a mecha sonic amalgam with the combined abilities knowledge and power of all the mechas going after sonic, they trapped mecha in his own head in the court room amd they were all working together as a collective unit so 1 was the main intelligence controlling whilst all the others would give heads-ups and warnings or would temporarily take control to dodge an attack only they saw or use one if their attacks and they were constantly alternating who was the main personality so they'd never become predictable so all mecha was able to do was wait for sonic to fall asleep so he could use his psychic link to pull sonic into the mechamalgam mind space so he could warn sonic, idk how It continues from here or how sonic preperas for this mecha amalgam attempting to assasinate him but clearly a cool battle happens and sonic would have to make the tough choice of trashing the amalgam saving himself and his freinds from a highly coordinated revenge plot but killing mecha or sparing them all and trying to find a way to redeem them maybe while temporarily keeping them prisoner. Also for anyone wondering how they even escaped scrapnik island mecha said sonic could run across the water and it's also said mech has sonics speed so presumably when they merged and his sawblade leg became a proper foot he was able to run at fast enough speeds to run across the water without needing to body swap with sonic

As both a huge sonic and Minecraft fan this makes this mashup all the more special! ❤ Especially considering the Wither is one of my favorite mobs and I think this combination of metals (who are also some of my favorites) a perfect mash! And as a bedrock player it makes the mob even more powerful! Which I think is fitting ;) Alas they will not last long- as they will spawn directly into the automatic wither killer! :)

Now we gotta know what the wither storm amalgam would be

Most comments and the video: *Amalgam Mecha Sonic!* What I focused on: *Sage and Eggman built their own Ender Dragon with Ancient tech?!* The first is admittedly cool, but Sage and her dad trying to conquer Minecraft feels equal parts awesome and hilarious. Hell, maybe trying to conquer Minecraft was actually Sage's idea and Eggman's running with it?

I wouldn't be mentioning him if it weren't for the fact that he's called Mecha Tails in the Japan version of the game. He's also made more appearances than I would've guessed.

The main thing holding the pack back for me is that it's only on the Bedrock edition, which I can't play because it isn't on Linux. (not that I even like the bedrock edition to begin with) This totally sucks because the pack looks cool; here's to hope that someone can port it to Java somehow.

one missed opportunity with this pack is that in vanilla Minecraft there's a painting of the wither that they could've made into a painting of the amalgam, instead they made it The Creation of Shadow
