in case anyone doesn't realize: the pistons used at the beginning for the door are, in fact, sticky pistions! it might seem obvious but it wasnt explicitly mentioned and if youre colourblind like myself it could get confusing and I for the life of me couldn't figure out why the door wasnt working when i was following the redstone exactly LOL! great build tho :)
@@thatsabitsus8966 thanks I am highly used to seeing the materials at the start of the vid I even tried scrolling threw the vid to see if I could find it but must have missed it. Much appreciated bro thanks!
Just a tip for the t flip flop for the door, if you ever have a problem with the redstone not activating try replacing the redstone that is infront of the comparator with the repeater. The one that receives the signal, not sending. And if your entrance only has the top piston pushing, make sure you don't spread the redstone and only connect it to the first piston. Sorry for the confusing explanation, hope it helps.
for everyone not on Bedrock and the door is not working: When he says elevate the Redstone by 1 Block for 2 Blocks, elevate it for 3 blocks, so the redstone does not hit the sticky piston ;^)
Hey disruptive I was building this base until i found out that the bottom part of the door was not working idk whether this has to do with console and pc versions or if i did something wrong but please help
Hey! Idk if u still need this but I had this happen on a server i play on my friend had this base door blown up and this occurred we figured out it was because a repeater was missing from the block that is placed above the hoppers in line with the bottom piston! Hope this helps
As a bedrock user, I think I could have some valuable things to say here: 1. The piston door doesn't entirely work, as pistons have a slightly different activation on bedrock. You aren't out of luck however! You can fix the problem by lowering the repeater that runs into the pistons by one block, and either making a small second line of redstone ontop of the pistons, or one block above and across to the piston, with the redstone running into the block that would be above the piston when it slides across. 2. While on base bedrock, you cannot crawl under trapdoors, when creating the world, you can actually enable it as a beta option! Might edit this later if I find anything new. Hope this helps!
So I'm trying to build this and I'm having trouble with the Redstone part. When I throw a block into the mine cart with the hopper it's closing it the door but when I go to get the block I throw it it still closed. And the redstone comparator is still on. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
This dude is insane, do you know how to do red stone or are you mAinly a builder , if not do you have someone to help you create the redstone parts of you builds ?
I used to be obsessed with redstone when I was younger, so I know a lot about it. I came up with the entrance redstone by myself (except for the t flip flop). Althought im sure its been done many times before!
@@thereisdanger4998 is there a way u can change it? Cause I did exactly like him but the bottom piston doesn't work and the comparator is still on especially when I remove the block out of barrel
@@zanderarts the thing is, in bedrock pistons don't count as full blocks in bedrock so the bottom pistons don't get powered through the other pistons. It's hard to explain in the comments, search up how to do piston door in bedrock and try to connect it with this
@@zanderarts the 2 pistons on the back need to be powered by redstone from the other side because in bedrock left side redstone doesn't affect the ones in the back. I don't know exactly how to do it and I can't really try since I don't have bedrock. You need to connect separate redstone to power the other pistons once they get pushed.
Perfect! I'm trying out the Medival Fantasy mod with tons of creatures that can just pulverize me and my house. A dragon ligit destroyed my house in like 2 minutes. So into the earth I go and with the most hidden way to get in possible so they hopefully can't find me again. Thanks! 😄
In the super smelter, when I was trying to do the rail thing , the powered ones are always getting connected, I tried the note u said about it, it’s still the same. I don’t wanna break it tho I wasted soo much iron on it :( please help me
I found a solution: You have to destroy the block infront of the bottom rail and temporarly place a rail there then place the powered rail behind it. And then place the other powered rail
From 1.19.2 if you have followed step by step and know nothing's wrong and the bottom door won't budge I recommend filling the gaps in your doorway to your redstone thing it worked for me like at 11:40
Amazing build man! But there's one slight problem with the animal farm: If you have some animals that eat grass like the sheep, I don't think the grass will regenerate due to there being no sunlight, or if the other grass can make it grow. Correct me if I'm wrong. Underrated btw
so good news! you actually can get the grass to regrow with regular lighting! I have a cave base right now with an indoor/in-cave sheep pen and with enough light the grass does continually regrow! :)
You know, you’ve earned a sub. I absolutely love the fact you show everything at the start. It’s a really cool thing to do. Because of that I’m subscribing and I’m gonna build this in my survival world!
Yo my super smelter not working, when i put items in the chest it gets sucked to the minecart but then gets sucked again by the bottom minecart. How do I fix this?
@disruptive builds im building on bedrock edition and the auto smelter isnt working. It is filling the first 3 furnaces but thats it. Can you please help?
I have a small problem. In the supersmelter the bottom minecart with the fuel takes all the items out of the top minecart that takes all the items to smelt
@@MarylandMeech yeah i had to move the bottom minecart one block to the side adding another row of hoppers. You might have to move some of the design stuff though
