Minecraft Survival - Creating a Starter Base & Exploring 

been getting insanely tired of the hardcore gimmick and over the top (usually always cheated in) mega builds and tasks. wanted to have a chill and more laid back series where i dont need to stress about losing the world and can just enjoy building things and creating transport systems everywhere. planning on making this series last a very very long time, i want to finally build and accomplish everything ive ever wanted to do in a mc world.

I absolutely love that more and more people have started to just play Minecraft “for fun” again. Not just doing extreme farms and speed running through the game but instead actually taking it slow and enjoying the experience. Can’t describe how much I look forward to this new series!!!

not vibing with that first world is so valid. I can’t lie, once I spawn into a snow biome I dont even give it a chance I immediately re generate lol

I’m only 15 minutes in but I just wanna say I love that you included the “failed” attempts in the beginning I love seeing what would usually be considered behind the scenes of most Minecraft videos! Very relatable 😂

YES! I love watching people play a game because they like it and not for the algorithm. It's also nice with the slow pace because it allows you to watch the video while doing something else, without fearing missing something.

i love the idea of using minecarts and mounts as ways of transportation. i think it brings out the old minecraft nostalgic vibes:)

I tend to love seeing black and dark purple for buildings using white as an accent color. If you have the create mod enabled, you can use the stonecutter to make some pretty access blocks using diorite or possible something with granite. I think using the acacia red wood (not the logs but either plants or slabs) for pathways matches it. As for the content/style, I love seeing the more laid back approach. Can relate more to it versus the "need to spend 8 months of actual playing to make what ends up being in a 90 minute video". I think future ideas could include possible co-op or some kind of missions.

Also, instead of two trapdoors, do a fence gate on the bottom of the entryway and a trapdoor on the top. Prevents baby villagers from escaping and prevents adults from leaving with the gate open while still letting you leave whenever you want.

storage drawers is a good mod for organizing your loot, you can set it up to auto sort for you. definitely worth looking into too. also it works well together with the create mod. you can use the trims in place of conveyer belts to cut down on lag

I really love the neocubist - his videos are edited on a slower spectrum (bit slower than this) but you are like the only person I've been able to find doing anything abit slower and I definetly appreciate it!!

i’m not a color pallet expert but i would love if you make it colorful bc im used to people building with the earth tones which is cute but just repetitive

I really enjoy this idea for the series, seeing giant and crazy builds in MC videos is always fun, but I find the cozy and chill MC series people make just much more enjoyable. I've been liking that more and more people are doing just "2010s" styles of gameplays lately, its charming and fun to people for a very good reason. I will definitely be keeping up with this series as well as watching the Hardcore one like always

I'm not joking, I was JUST looking for a "old school" Minecraft series, that are just played for fun and, as you said, slower videos with more "deadspace" and chill. Can't wait for more to see where this series will go.

Really excited to watch this! Hardcore worlds are impressive, but I think the focus on it being Hardcore (If I Die I Lose It All) often detracts from focus on the projects and the creator's enjoyment. I like the more low-stakes environment of survival. Even if you die, the build or adventure can continue.

New series YES This being a fun let's play, I really like that it is slower paced. Light terraforming, definitely.

Can’t you build a lake? A really pretty one you would see in like movies for dates with fish and stuff. They’re not practical but they’re really pretty 🙂. Btw, I prefer the new format of the video! It’s really nice and chill.

Use storage drawers if you’re using forge. Use extended drawers if you’re using fabric. If you want a more vanilla feel us pipez on forge or copper/better pipes.

44:05 if you place a torch on carpet IRL it’ll burn up, they’d have to code that into the game too. We’re lucky we can even put torches next to wool, carpet, wood, leaves, and all other flammable materials in game.

35:21 I think Light Blue, Black, and Purple would be a good tricolor combo, maybe replace purple with gold if it doesn't fit right.

A less dangerous option to lava removing cobwebs is water (it's like grass) Also if you want a use for copper, cut copper is a very pretty building block, both orange and green. Good for roofs Also x2 you may wanna invest in a lighting rod if you plan to have your villager breeder open to the sky

Every once in awhile it's nice to just chill, I been enjoying this kind of game play since the end of last year so yeah take it easy, no need to rush. Lot of funny stuff too

For the terraforming thing, I like the idea of keeping the world very natural looking and aesthetically pleasing, like how you did with the mineshaft. I think terraforming is okay as long as it also looks natural. Natural, of course, being 'things that make sense for the build'. So the stairs going down into the cave work with the cave itself, the bridge going over the river goes *over* the river and not just across it, farms can sprawl and work with slight hills and buildings can flatten them because that's just what happens. Of course, this is your world and you can do whatever the hell you feel like doing. Play for fun, not for us.

Concrete, I like the purply and pinky colours. I also really like terracotta, specifically the magenta/ purple one. It’s really beautiful to build with and goes with lots of other blocks

I think it would be funny if you got a white horse and called it "Tin Foil." Not sure if you're old enough to get the reference or not. But I think it would be Hilarious! I like the slower pace.
