This might be looking too deeply into it but it's a little eerie how Andrew puts leashes on the chickens, just like how the birds in the sky garden had leashes on them.
Hello! You mentioned one of the problems with your wheat farm was the water freezing yes? May I suggest using waterlogged slabs instead of just the water? It keeps the water from freezing and it still hydrates farmland. Hoped this helps!

If you want to do farming, what you can do is 1: do a farm underground, but have glass over it connecting it to outside light (good if you need to stay indoors for a while) 2: have torches practically right next to the water 3: if there’s seagrass nearby, I think you can place it in the water and the water won’t freeze
Glad to see that you used one block of "mossy cobblestone" in your tower build! Really adds some nice detail to it, although it seemed kind of out of place... maybe you should try to experiment with other blocks in your future builds aswell! I highly recommend the "brick" block for structures like a well!
Great vid! I have a couple suggestions of puppy names for your dog, if you'd like them: Name 1: Chrysanthemum! Its got a feminine touch and brings my mind back to that one book i read in childhood. Nostalgia seems to be a theme here, and it sure does bring back that feeling of hazy memories :] can also be Crys or Anthe for short, whichever you prefer! Name 2: Byte! For your storage issues, and because dogs bite sometimes. Name 3: Cerberus! Harkoning back to the greek myth, your puppy protects your home base like the gates of the underworld! using many torches around the house should keep monsters away, and also unfreeze the water! i wanna suggest you build an igloo since youre in a snowy area, it really keeps the world feeling more lived in, sorta contextualized in a way, like with your towers. Those igloos could have a really deep well in them like some other comments suggested, i guess innovating on another idea i hope you keep enjoying the game :D
I actually have 8 chickens in real life and in my professional opinion I think you should name the other chicken Goob Goob. That way of you get any more you can just add more Goobs onto their names. Love your content btw!
The signs is just from your old mods and it disappearing is probably form the fact Mojang is updating signs soon so the game bugged out. mossy cobblestone is probably form a glitched spot where the biome is confused with a different biome. I also miss that good old Minecraft nostalgic feel and the old style of Minecraft lets play:)

Heya here's a tip when it comes to making animal pens. You can put stuff like carpet of trapdoors on the fence and it'll let you jump on/over it but the animals won't. That way you won't be risk them running through the door or anything like that!

To make double sure you don't lose more footage, you could film you moniter as you play with your phone/camera. I know its kinda a scuffed solution, but it would work.

Speaking of building more towers, for defense you could always just keep building towers equidistant from your base to get a good view of it on all sides. Up to you, but if the mobs keep causing you problems, taking them out from a distance with a bow and arrow might be a good idea.

hey man! i love your let's play! it's really fun watching an old-school Minecraft series it really takes me back. i'd like to propose a name for the dog. my old family dog was named Chris. my father thought it would be funny to give him a human name when we got it lol. anyway with this tower you should consider building a castle! this could be a fun projet. and also I think you placed your mossy cobble in the tower by accident but you could add more and do like a mossy patch like it's an old tower! sorry for the long comment but yeah love the videos man! keep up the good work :)
Weird that he mentions downloading scary mods and liking horror videos here as an explanation for the sign when earlier in the series he said he never liked any horror stuff. I wonder if that's meant to imply more changed about him than just his memory.
I don't know if you've since figured this out, but you can pop a torch next to water block to keep it from freezing in the snow biomes! Also, that mossy stone is weird, I don't think I've heard of that happening in older versions. Are you playing with any mods that might like, allow you to combine vines with cobble to get mossycobble or something?
theory: The ghost or person in the videos is removing footage, mainly the footage where it can be spotted, or it is trying to make andrew give up, so that people in the comments notice it and tells him.
