Missed the Premiere :( Thoughts on Episode: •-•---•---•---•-• As much as I do not want to admit it… Elias does indeed have a point, even if it is completely heartless- there would be little to no problems that Colin would face if ALL the animatronics’ AI were not that “self-aware.” However, ALL the animatronics are indeed sentient due to showing a lot of emotions towards one and the other like caring for their safety of themselves, having their own unique personalities with their own distinct traits to how they deal with others and cope to themselves.. etc. That mysterious animatronic named *_Desmond_* nearing the end of the episode could be a liability and may further prove Elias’ point of completely removing the AI is necessary if said animatronic does some very terrible thing… (Also someone said that Desmond is part of the Original FNAF Series for this channel to which.. I need further context)

I know imma miss the premiere but can't wait to see what's going to happen in this episode

An animatronic in the basement

I mean, Elias is not wrong (just harsh). These animatronics are dangerous. I know it's hard to see because of Minecraft skins making them look pretty and cute, but just try to imagine these animations in real life; they would be scary. And this is not to mention the fact that they are huge pieces of moving metal with hydraulics in them, with no way to shut them off or stop them in any way. They also have none of the three rules of robotics. These things are dangerous, and sure, they are like people and all, but ummm... people are dangerous too, so why would metal people be better in any way? Also, all the animations that regularly complain about rights and stuff are the problematic ones, whereas the cute, lovable animations don't exactly complain about much because there is no need. Bee kind of did it in this episode, but I wouldn't exactly call it complaining; more just defending himself from harsh words.

Just because they're animatronics doesn't mean you don't have to treat them like people. They've shown that they are capable to think and feel like ordinary humans.

That is offensive saying animatronics aren't "people". Yeah they don't have a soul or feelings. But they can be program to have feelings, it is the owner or the company's decision on how they want their animatronics to be program as for other people if they want them to have personality or not. That was horrifying to see a prototype animatronic named Desmond just wander around in the basement and Beezy close the light so he can't see him with Colin and Elias. Thankfully Beezy and Bot have security codes and programs to detect animatronic or human signal life nearby

I think what a lot of people forget is that in the fnaf universe the animatronics are often possessed by souls

The original reasoning for them having AI given way back in Brian's first location was that having adaptive AI would allow the animatronics to better interact with the children and allow them to remember past interactions, basically It was to make them feel more real, of course this explanation only works in locations where animatronics actually interact directly with customers and I'm not sure if the animatronics in this location do that, they seem stage bound aside from maybe Rae but that's because I have no idea what Rae does to begin with.

watch the video first before reading ok my thoughts i get where elias is coming from i do but these robots came with emotions they didnt have a choice to have these emotion and i bet if colin were to ask they would probably want to keep those emotions i bet if colin were to force taking away there own emotions it would very much weigh on his mind it might even feel like killing them my guy barely gets enough sleep as is he doesnt need more ghost coming back to haunt him. im 100 percent the robots are what keep him from becoming the next afton or whatever the other evil entities are in this fnaf series he's trying now dont tick him off to the point where he's just a complete psycopath he may have not given a reason but there shouldnt really be a need to you can tell theres something wrong with he's not being a, ahole you gotta job to work he's trying his best to make sure its not completely terrible and you guys dont all die plus not all the animatronics are just ai idk if bryan has any left alive but some of them were just dead people whether thats the same for any of the other restaurants idk havent been paying attention enough could be the same for colin idk idk why it would matter if they have emotions or not i mean they are gonna have problems yeah but we all have those problems plus not sure you would like it if someone took away your ability of freedom i also think colin would get lonely

So my take on the episode and what happened is personally elise may get killed cause he seems to be not privy to the fact that some animatronics have the souls of others in them which if you try to tamper with them they can and will kill cause codes dont work on animatronics like that and with what happened to colin on the doug losing his eyes arc if the animatronics knew elise was taking who they are away then he would end up just like colin but on a more unified front or just punched to death out of anger from being successful cause in fazbear or the universe in general if you fuck around you will find out and that mostly leads to death but thats my take
