I created the illusion of a 'us' looking like a 'w', I managed to achieve it while writing the word house. This is exactly how powerful I felt when creating it, that illusion will always hold a place in my heart somewhere, but for now, I can't even recreate it, all evidence of the illusion is currently unavailable. Maybe the first time introducing a new item type like whether it's oak, spruce, etc because (at least with the shader) I couldn't always tell which wood type was being used. Otherwise this is fantastic! Love it

Ok, Minecraft Content creators? New rule: A "Starter base" should be something that can be built in 20 minutes, before it gets dark and monsters come out to play. Otherwise there is literally no point. Looks nice, though!

That is incredibly limiting. A before first dark house is called a dirt box or a hole. Which is why "starter base" is not wasted on that and can be quite broad. It is literally accurate anyway. This is a base you would build first. Its a great first project. Its ok if it takes a few days of playing to finish. Semantics are boring.

In my opinion starter base and starter house are 2 different things. Starter base is the area where u have all ur survival essentials. A starter house can be small house that u can build in 3 Minecraft days. Obviously u won’t be able to build this in the first day cause it’s a base not a house. And if u don’t like it when the monsters come out to play just get a bed! Simple as that. Edit: what I’m trying to say is either get a bed or build a small quick house the first day.

All that detail and the best spider defense was odd fence around the whole thing. I'm just gonna use upsidedown stairs then put the half slabs like you had already done. Good build though, trying this on hard survival so it's a bit tougher.

Very nice build, would have been helpful to tell us which block you're currently using... I'm playing with a texture pack and had to replace all the oak with spruce cause I got them confused...

I built this and slowly added to it and It is so big and has hidden farms inside of it a good sized villager trading hall and I can supply a small army for war just from this base it is crazy how easy this was to follow I gathered the resources and built in just 40 minutes
