And the fact that most if not all moobase cover creators just...vanished all of a sudden, makes this feel even more sadder. It’s like the memories of genuine joy you had playing Minecraft....being only a memory. A memory, you would like to relive. This is what this soundtrack from Minecraft always makes me feel.
Some times we find ourselves in the reminents of a dead trend we never got to be a part of, we lay and wish for more, enjoying the fleeting pleasure we get from these songs, knowing that we will likely never see something like this again, these are things that have always interested me, the corpses of dead trends, the abundant content or the beauty of the few, I am new to this strange place we call the internet, places like this remain unknown to me, and will likely stay that way, yet when I find them it reminds me of a few things, the abundantness of the past, the time that we spend is totally different from person to person, and that in our own fleeting mortality we create and forget so many things, all while hoping the same doesn't happen to us, these songs are truly are something aren't they, so now I close this comment, to listen one more time.
And this is true with all things, but fret not, do not be like me and fear being forgotten, to fade into darkness is not our destiny, simply live, have no regrets and choose to create, even if you forget what it was
The hay day of these memes were a better time i can tell you that in confidence. For me a better time on the internet and also in real life, listening to Moonbase alpha songs takes me back to a time where you could actually be minorly offensive on youtube and it was actually funny and there was no Jake or Logan Paul clogging the headlines about youtube or anything just gaming things. In my real life those times were some of the best too spending nearly every day at one of my friends house in the summer it was great but now all thats over and I’m glad its happened but god I would do anything to go back to those simpler times.
I always feel an incredible nostalgia with this song, I remember my Minecraft times when I couldn't even put the stairs together, I don't remember which version is the truth, yup good times.
moonbase alpha makes everything sound better. there is no real logical explanation. there are theories and guesses, but no one for sure knows why or how.
@@bluedogz1624 mid is to be very kind, and that Japanese slag, equally below subpar, Well, since Notch sold the rights to Minecraft, the game has been unplayable due to all the new music they added which doesn't have any of the charm that C418 had.
i turned off music as a whole, because the new music just isn't nearly as good as the old ones, people say the old songs arent even that good we just have good memories but honestly, I could sleep to C418's music but Lena Raine has no touch to it, like when you hear C418 you can tell its C418.@@livedandletdie
Years ago I remember watching these videos Only now does this pop up in my recommended The world needs more Moonbase Alpha songs And when the world needed them most They vanished The world suddenly forgot, nobody seems to remember Moonbase Alpha remains empty with only a handfull of songs as proof it existed Maybe in a hundred years will they come back R.I.P Moonbase Alpha creators I still remember you
0:58 i love how positive and triumphant this part of wet hands sounds, without being overly energetic. it still keeps the calm nature of the game, while having a rare moment of just happiness and no other mixed emotions sidenote, hearing minecraft music actually just makes me so sad and happy at the same time
the memories of what was once good, but nowadays lacks the spirit it used to have. It was the greatest game ever made, now it's an empty shell of what it used to be.
I really can't express how much I love this rendition of the song. The melody is almost human and a lot more comforting, it gives off a great tone. Truly a masterpiece.
You ever coming back? Every single moonbase alpha cover maker just disappeared, not one of them is uploading. I’d at least like an answer, good or bad.
this timelapse footage just takes me back to when i first picked up the game on pocket edition. ill never forget the image of looking at a lava pool in a cave or seeing iron across a cave. these are memories that i think every player will have forever
I once saw diamonds on the side of a mountain and I lost my shit I was so excited. Those were the first ever diamonds I had found naturally and that memory will forever be in my mind.
There's something about this cover that is oddly... Beautiful. Serene; Peaceful. Maybe it's the acapella in the background, or the main astronaut's singing, but something about this cover makes me feel happy inside. Really goes to show just how good Minecraft's music is.
These are one of those videos/songs where someone would type out something long and meaningful in the comments section and you'd be reading it while this is playing in the background and you'll shed that one tear because the music somehow synced up with that one line that just hits a little bit close to home.
Do you ever just come here to listen to thing song and remember the good times this game offered you with friends, staying up all night to just find diamonds, or playing servers and teaming with someone just for them to betray at the end, this game will always leave a mark in gaming history.
and the game due to its nature has the huge potential to exists forever and never be outdated With minecraft there are literally infinite ways to play and with the fact mojang keeps updating it and listening to the community i see nothing but the best future for my favorite game and its one of the only games that i have consistently been playing for YEARS and even during those times where minecraft was considered like fortnite is now Its nice to see old players return to the game or even new players (although i dont approve of people who left the game when it was considered cringy just to come back when its popular calling themselves veterans)
Listening to this reminds me of how far Minecraft has come and how much more it can continue to keep on going. It was an amazing journey, a journey worth living through and a journey I never want to end.
aeiou is all i have to say to you my friend. and john madden, and ebrbrbrbrbrbrb, and holla holla get dollar, and question mark exclamation point, and uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
"Some day you will place your last block in minecraft." "But that day is not today. There's so much you haven't made yet. Keep going, I believe in you."
I have zero clue how to use Moonbase Alpha. But since no one truly does anymore now that it is sadly forgotten, I say this and this only: Challenge Accepted!
Guys Moonbase Alpha is being revived (albeit slowly), there's this dude called 'its557am' who made a meme about it on Tik Tok that blew up (it was in the form of a Moonbase Alpha remix of an Undertale song).
I never even played Moonbase Alpha, but after stumbling upon those videos from 10 years ago, they strike me with the same energy as shenanigans as any other nostalgic game from the past you’d play with your friends. I understand what you MBA players are feeling, though.
“We did it.” You say teary eyed. “We made it to the moon..” You look to your side as if expecting to see your deceased companion, Apollo. “We did it, Apollo.. and you were the best boy for the job.” You reminisce on memories of you and your dog Apollo, in space, on earth, in dreams. Now it’s your turn.. time to go home.. time to go back to *Apollo* ..
Ironically the whole first part of the song feels like I’m drifting through space til 0:57 where it cuts off and when it starts it feels like my ears are watching a rocket take off
@@sophasopha2357 and with the help of Elon musk, send them to mars on a rocket, dump their body there, and then have the rocket come back to earth and fucking land itself
This is music at it's finest. Everything about is perfection. No weird tones that are slightly off, no feeling like it's missing something and no mediocrity.
When I want to feel nostalgia, or anything like that I come to this video, I just play it over and over again, it helps me feel better, especially with the current pandemic and all that
Your lost in space the ship is almost out of fuel and comms are dead The ship is running low on oxygen and your other crewmates tank will only last her a few more minutes but it'll take hours to drift back to earth As time runs low you detach your tank and give it to your other crewmate As you pass out from lack of oxygen your crewmate grabs you and takes your helmet off "We made it home Steve"
The typical ways to experience serenity are finding a quiet spot in nature, sitting with utter silence, or maybe having life go your way and be at peace with where you are… and yet.. this song brings me into a state of such without the need of any of that. Maybe it was the memories I associate with moonbase alpha, maybe its the wonderful music created by the community, but something about this makes me feel at peace. Thank you.
Moonbase Alpha music is beautiful because it takes already good songs and then makes them sung by a choir, except the choir is tts, which acts as a kinda internal lofi effect
