@@paulcee I got no response from even surface targets. If I loosened the connector into the back of the controller I could get the unit to chirp at me. I could hear feedback from the coil through my Bluetooth earbuds if the coil was pointed at me, though. I contacted Minelab and they honored the warranty for it even though I didn't pay for it. They said the coil was bad and could only detect its own cable. Just got it back together and scouted my yard with plenty of results. Happy hunting!
Nice vid Paul, i think the x terra is ok for the price. i do like the dp tone as well on the nox 900, i use it al the time on my field of dreams. Thanks mate see you on the next one.
Thank you Paul. I think I’m going to purchase this detector. I’m just starting off. How deep will it go and does it pick up all metals or does it cancel out non precious metal? Me dad buried a time casual years ago in a steel or iron box. He thinks about 5ft down in a field and he forgot about it. Would it be easy to find if he knows the area of 12ft squared? He either didn’t think it through or fancied a challenge haha. Would this be suitable. (Learner alert) I’d be grateful for any help. Many thanks, and kind regards..
Hi Liam although this is a really good detector 5ft is almost out of range of all of the hobby Detectors. And yes it can pick up all metal or you can cancel out metal you don't want to find. It's very easy to use.
@@paulcee is there a metal detector out there that you would recommend? I’d love to get it and pass it down to my boy and add some of my boys too it to get him started. Thank you for your time. Liam.
