Tbh Yeosang is very shy. He made friends with Woo young cause well, Woo young was being himself and made Yeosang like him. Yeosang is also very soft spoken, I've only ever seen him mad/upset when Mingi (lol) squeaked the puppy toy in the puppy interview video n woke up the puppies. Yeosang was so shy that i think Hongjoong or Seonghwa had to tell him that he can always put in his input or come to them. He's just a cutie pie ngl. He always sends me into cute aggression. In an Interview Series with Ateez, Seonghwa mentioned that Yeosang let's people take advantage of him but Yeosang doesn't let ppl take advantage of the ones he loves. Hwa told him it shouldn't only be that way and that if anyone had a Problem with Yeosang "We will deal with it" 😂 (thats my one of my fave mama-hwa moments ngl) Don't be fooled though, when Yeosang is ready he can cut you down with words alone. He may seem like a cute maltese but is loyal n just as badass as a doberman. Ppl tend to forget, Yeosang is literally Best Friends with Woo young, if that doesn't say enough about his sass, strength and kindness, idk what else will.
3:02 from what i remembered, it was explained that it was because yeosang during the live he tried to call mingi, he dialed mingi’s really old phone number instead of his current one (he forgot that he put a symbol on mingi’s current contact or smth like that) which is why he wasnt able to contact him during the live and at that time yeosang frequently changed numbers and i think mingi forgot to save his recent one… then they also said they usually use kakaotalk to talk to each other so they dont usually use their actual phone numbers to text/call each other xD the members poked fun of them for a while because it was a funny incident but they are actually very close and they usually bond quietly on camera and hang out often off camera (ex. they work out together, they recently hang out together with just the two of them in japan, etc.)

As of atleast 10 months, mingi and yeosang have been like BEST BEST friends. I know that all of ateez are close, but they’re genuinely always in their own corner gossiping, laughing to something, being all close. Screw woosan, matz, twin towers. THE duo of ateez has been minsang!! Yall cannot tell me otherwise

Yeosang is extremely introverted. There was an episode where he had one of the members (Can't remember if it's Wooyoung or Junho) Jogging on the street with him in LA so he can practice saying hello to people. He was so shy, took him a few try, poor thing. I think he's not as introverted now.
It was Hongjoong actually - and it was his challenge during Fever Road (that's what the clip in the video Ben watched was from, where Mingi was giving Yeosang advice about saying hello while jogging). Wooyoung and Yuhno, meanwhile, went all the way to find Wooyoung's mom's friend to get some kimchi from her - which Yunho then had to use to make breakfast for everyone the next morning (kimchi friend rice :) ). And Mingi had to go to the pharmacy and ask for medications for 3 specific issues. And Jongho went to arm wrestle 3 really strong men at a local gym. I can't actually remember what Hongjoong, Seonghwa, or San's challenges were... was San's when he had to swim with the sharks?... It's been a while :)

The telephone number incident happened when on vlive Yeosang tried to dial Mingi through his old phone number, but it was out of reach, because Mingi changed his number and Yeosang saved his Mingi's new number in a way, he totally forgot. And as Yeosang freaquently changed his phone numbers at that time, Mingi didn't have Yeosang's new number too. At that time they lived in one dorm, so all of them were always together and there was no real need in calling each other, as they rather interacted irl or in a group chat xD But they are close and they always were, they're just not really that talkative, so they seem a bit awkward to people, but they are very comfortable with each other. Yeosang is a very introverted and shy person, so it is wthat it is 😊

Yeosang named Mingi’s number as a nickname, and forgot about it than tried to call “Mingi” on vlive, but the number was out of service.(it was mingi’s last one) And later, Yeosang found he got Mingi’s but it turns out Mingi does’t have Yeosang’s🤣 It happend like 4 years ago, now they looks closer than ever

As I'm watching this and you are talking about introverts, I find it fascinating that all my Ateez biases are extroverted and all my bias wreckers are introverted! *If we don't count Wooyoung's MBTI test once that said he is an introvert

It's true they didn't have each other's numbers, but it was an accident. If you watch ATEEZ Spilling the Tea About Each Others Business, you can see all of that story. It's a hilarious video.
Btw - it's actually "a to zed" I think, as in ATEEZ is "everything a teenager wants/needs from a to z," but with z pronounced in the non-American way ;)

The phone number thing is true but the whole team said not to take it seriously. They spend every day together so Mingi didn't feel the need to have Yeosang's number. They do hang out and they also work out together :) Recently Mingi took Yeosang on a "date" (they called it that, but of course they mean it differently than us) where he organized everything and Yeosang enjoyed himself (he said so on live). Oh, and in another video Yeosang himself said he hasn't even saved his own sister's number, so... he doesn't have any right to be offended! 😂
All ateez are whipped for yeosang and you can't really blame them....Yeosang is an introvert but they are all close. Yeosang always seems most comfortable with Wooyoung of course and also Jongho. Those two are introvert and don't like skinship but when together they are comfortable enough to be like that❤

So truth is Mingi revealed that he’s been wanting to get close to Yeosang for years but Yeosang had always been timid and shy. Mingi said he would visit Yeosang’s room at night time because it was the only time it would just be the two of them and they would spend one on one time with each other and he really liked it but Mingi got upset because Yeosang would never come to his room. When Yeosang found out about this he asked Mingi to hang out just the two of them and they went to a pc cafe and to eat out together 😭 Mingi even planned it all and now they hang out more regularly!!❤
The number issue was because Mingi changed his phone and number so he didn’t have Yeosang’s number so fans thought they weren’t close even Yeosang didn’t know about it till Mingi said it and they hugged each other to not look like they don’t like each other They are pretty close and Mingi adores him
All members are close, the video was meaning that yeosang and mingi just aren't a super frequent pairing we see. Usually mingi's around yunho and yeosang will be with wooyoung or san. They didn't have each other's phone numbers because yeosang had recently gotten a new phone and he and mingi forgot to trade numbers. Also, it's fairly typical for idols to change their phone numbers often because of the creeps that get ahold of their numbers and try to call them
Mingi and Yeosang are close now but they both have very very different personalitys, like wen Mingi is the A in Ateez and Yeosang is literally the Z. You will see this after learning more about Mingi, but they are close now, they even went together to a trip
Not that ben will read this comment, but a few things to note: -Mingi used to be the only T (mbti) in ateez -yeosang is most definitely an introvert and a bit shy and also according to hongjoong, "the hardest child to raise" - these two are just a little awkward in personality, but thats part of their charm 😂
