I picked up a mini bike from Princess Auto and man is it way more fun than I thought. #minibike #welding #simplelittlelife Thank you Princess Auto for sponsoring this video. www.princessauto.com/en/
I felt the same when I got mine, I am 52 and never have found a hobby that makes me smile this much....there is learning curve but once that is overcome then the real fun begins
My buddy has one and I love riding the thing! Definitely needs some sort of suspension on it though. His bike is in stock form, but he did buy a stage 1 kit for it. That was a new open air filter, new exhaust (straight piped like you did), better carb and bigger jets for it. He also removed the governor on it as it would only max out at maybe 18mph or so. But with that setup, it cruises much faster and runs much better, but the exhaust is definitely way too loud with the straight pipe setup. He ended up putting a generic muffler on it and that helped but it's still fairly loud. But yeah, they are fun to blast around on. I use to have a Kawasaki KLX110 pit bike that was modded out for a bigger rider and it was a blast! Wish I never got rid of that thing! I'd much rather ride a pit bike than the mini bike because of the suspension and rideability of it, but I'll take anything over nothing lol.
Do you remember what wire number you used to weld those foot pegs with? Is it Flux core wire or is it mig wire? I'm new to welding so forgive me for the stupid questions. The way you welded those pegs on was like melting butter and the weld was PERFECT. Great video buddy. 👍
Jermy, you need to wrap your new exhaust pipe to keep it from burning someone's leg. your auto parts will have it. stay safe and enjoy your new toy. just a thought, have you changed you mailing address since you have moved into your new place .
NEVERMIND.... I typed this before the end of the vid... haha. Suggestion... LED that headlight so they can ride that trail in the evening during these short winder days. 😁😁
I have a CT200u-EX modified. It’ll do 60 mph on pavement. I really built it for trail riding in the woods. Consider building a springer seat next. It made mine so much more comfortable.
The centrifugal clutch will burn up after two or three rides then if things slips like crazy, you have to take the clutch apart and sand it down with some like 80 grit sandpaper you got to keep doing that every couple rides
been a minute since I've seen one of your videos! I'm helping my brother in law with his coleman ct200u! we're getting a electronic start kit for it and some lights.
@@Simplelittlelife Also, is that 1 inch inner or outer diameter for your exhaust? trying to find or make my own with a muffler. I do have a pipe threader kit here at work I can use to put a online pre-made one but I haven't found a header that routes or looks the way I want it to.
That looks like a blast, and the scenery this time of year is great. Gotta go and pick up my TSPROF "Master Kit" that came in today's mail. Are you still using yours? Enjoyed watching your presentations w/ the TSPROF, thanks...
I wish you would have given a better look at the bench you built for the minibike. They look like my sawhorses without the bottom stuff you added. I love my sawhorses because when not working on them people can use them as benches around the shop. Mine only use two 2x4's as platform supports and then I screw on top of them a table top from reclaimed wood. I find people throwing out almost full sized sheets of OSB all the time. I sometimes get lucky and find a table someone has thrown away. I remove the table top at my shop and use the top for my sawhorses. They get used a lot more than the traditional sawhorses because you can actually use them as a platforms for anything.
I need help. I was taking off the governor of my BT 200X and when I put it all back together every time i started it the throttle cable and linkage looked fine but the back wheel would always spin. Someone please help
Flip flops, no helmet.. thats hard core raising boys! *I APROVE!* (I raised 4). Let them EXPERIENCE the pain! You telling them "you might get hurt", is an exercise in futility!! IMO! Good job brother!! Cheers from Michistan. (The state formally known as Michigan)
Right on! Yeah gotta let them figure out the physical world for themselves right? My youngest probably spends 2 hours every single day carving with knives and axes. When he started, he did get a few cuts here and there but after a while they figure it out and his knife skills are really impressive. Thank you so much. Cheers from Canezuala 😆👍
Good afternoon. I will be glad if you help me. I really want a bt200x mini bike, but there are none in my region. I'm ready to do it myself. tell me please, do you have a drawing of the frame, AutoCAD?
Sweet! I watched your video. Love the exhaust you did too! I threw away an old Harley exhaust system a few years ago and after seeing your video I regret it. Nice work! God bless you too👍
