Got a 2011s a few years ago. Same as this one. In great shape with 85 000 kms. Worst car ever. New problem every few months. Towed every winter at least once. Repairs are expensive and frequent. Mini dealership is the absolute worst to deal with. DO NOT BUY
Really enjoyed this Mini review. I'm in the market for one and found you and this video to be pretty awesome and detailed. Very thorough. Just some feedback, you may want to not talk while you're letting your audience listen the the sound of the shifting. Overall, great video.
Good detailed review, thanks! I've just purchased a 2011 cooper S countryman and in the UK we have a third seat instead on the centre rail which is handy if you have 3 kids. It may be a little tight for space with say 3 large adults, however my 8 year old twins and 10 year old have plenty of space in the back, my point being I think a third seat is a good shout if you have it as an option in the US at all?
Placing the sunglasses box there will ensure you can’t put the handbrake down completely… which is why you slid it backwards once you started driving ;-) Nice car! I own a 2016 R60 Cooper S with plenty of options and love it!
Stay clear of the Diesel version …chain belt problems as in they can snap …glow plugs get stuck and can’t be changed …BMW engines very complicated and some garages won’t work on them with regards to changing clutches or chain belts the whole engine has to come out …£2000 of my hard earned English pounds to have my chain belt replaced ….will repair and move on or just get shut and avoid this bill
The countryman is roomy for 4 people, good fuel and comfortable. I own 2016, they are good all round cars. Going around country soon when weather gets warmer
@@apexproductions7232 they do better fuel than what google rates it as. Google claims: 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway What i've been averaging: 28 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. Better than pretty much all rivals in fuel efficiency for awd
@@apexproductions7232 i would've personally recommended one from 2015 and up cause they had few issues with years below 2015. Although if it's maintained should hold up; they are amazing touring cars as well, can't wait to go long journeys with mine :)
@@RetroKingOG that’s good to know. Well mine currently has low mileage and I think once I hit 100k miles is when I’ll sell and upgrade to a newer one! Very excited either way thanks for letting me know! I’ll take extra care of it!
@@apexproductions7232 one more thing you should know; don't believe the dealerships when they tell you transmission fluid should last forever. That's one of *MAIN* reasons Minis are deemed unreliable. Change transmission fluid every 25'000 miles or 30'000 to 40'000 km Im keeping mine for few years probably till 150'000 km and i guarantee it will last cause i know better than dealers.
