Well done, Cleo. Fun to watch & very educational. Love the R53. I've got a Chili Red one with 143,000 miles on it. Checkerboard roof and mirror caps, white OEM wheels (second owner - got in 2009 with 12,000). Daily driven, autocross champ. Just now did the radio (Kenwood w/bluetooth) and speakers (Infinity) from Crutchfield since I blew the front right OEM 6.5" midrange. Also have the Milltek catback, Koni yellow double adjustable shocks/struts, PowerFlex bushings, Schroth 4pt harness, Sylvania LED fogs and running lights, MSD coil and wires, Pelican Parts aluminum coolant reservoir, K&N drop-in filter, and Brembo rotors w/Hawk HPS pads. Street tires: Goodyear Eagle Sport (205/50r16) AutoX tires: Hoosier A7 DOT slicks when in D stock, then Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec for D Street class. I change the Castrol Edge High Mileage 5W-30 religiously every 5,000 miles. Amazingly, I'm on the FACTORY ORIGINAL clutch and throw-out bearing!!! Cars and Bras Ive already done Coilovers, full exhaust system inc 4 branch manifold (bit load) but sounds good 👌🏽 Ramair Induction with heat cage, new brakes & pads coming next week & want to get smaller pulley but not a clue which one I need? 🙈

Peter Demetriou it’s quite addictive! I didn’t in the end, I couldn’t find a decent cooper bumper at the time. I will go back down that route and have an R56 Mini challenge diffuser fitted, but there’s a few other things to upgrade first 😅
Is it frustrating to work on a Mini Cooper? I’m wanting to get one as a project car but one of my friends said they’re hard to work on because the engine bay is cramped. Opinions?
