Not that hard my man.. here in Europe all of us drive stick shift.. Keep the clutch in... till you want to drive(let go slowly while applying some gas) then its just gas till you want to switch gears.. I had a mini as first aswell, now have a second R53 JCW. the 160hp is actually great fun, and when you get bored just throw a 15% pulley reduction in.
Need a stiffer rear seat bar. If you have a r56. I haven’t done that to my car yet but only because I live in Ohio still and we have no driving roads lol. In Tennessee and about to go to the tail of the dragon tomorrow
I think that's mostly stock for the jcw too My mom has one and it handles worlds different than my friends s does. His is a peppy commuter and hers feels like driving a race car. It's crazy.
Get a polybush rear handling pack and lower it. Mines fully polybushed and terrorises passengers, so much more composure when set up correctly. You loose alot of refinement, stiffer suspension and bushings allow significant road noise into the cabin.
Every time I talk about buying a MINI I get criticized and they bash the car for looks and reliability…..I’m just going to start sending people this video, self explanatory. MINIs are ugly stock, like any other car under 100,000 bucks.
I have the 2011 JCW I live in the pyrenees mountains, and they're good cars but they don't handle like that from the factory. The rear end is loose under heavy breaking and the rev limiter should be removed!!
Per quelli che dicono ai possessori di mini che l’unica cosa che sanno fare è sfidare le 500 sul dritto, provate a portare una 500 su ste curve e a tirarla come sto pazzo, vediamo a quale curva cadono giù dal burrone
All cars evolve through time, from the Testarossa to the Micra. That so many people have a problem with the new Mini is testament to how great and lovable the original one was. I had a classic cooper in the 90´s, great little car, but my new JCW... it’s better ;) and I’m pretty sure in a few years time more people will appreciate the f56 jcw , it’s an amazing car.
Limited slip differential is what makes the difference. I just put one in my 08 clubman s the front end stays where ever you point it and it handles as close to an AWD as you can get with a FWD! Now I have to re-learn the car to learn how to control that ass end coming around! Haha!!
