I had a little trouble getting the ochuj out of the mold, in fact I should have just tried with more force 😀, I ended up doing it, and it turned out great 😀🙏
I'm always in a rush and my first priority is to get the next video out so I don't have time to get out the bait patterns I've been making. Did you do that with the medicine mold? Thank you very much 😀🙏
@@makinglure No, I don't have any medicine molds like you used. I cut circles from foil tape, added a water-slide image, and put three drops of UV resin on top. They came out OK, but I ordered a punch tool to make better circles.
Thank you very much sir 😀, honestly I have to tell you that salmon are my favorite lures. I am preparing a few more videos on making salmon lures. Some will be in three parts, Some will be three-piece and some will be large swimbait 😀🙏
Hi everyone. I have just tried this method with a DVD-R. It takes some effort to find and ripp the two plastics apart but it deserves to try it. The thin laser layer between them has two flashing sides. Be aware that this layer needs to be handle carefully cause it's too thin and rippes apart in no time. Thanks to your great idea @luresmaking , if have find a new way to make my lures shine. Thanks a lot. Keep going you making so beautiful lures.
Sorry I'm late with the answer. Thank you for sharing this with us, I tried to remove the foil from the DVD once but I couldn't get it right. What manufacturer was the DVD you tried to remove the foli from? I noticed that there are differences in the manufacturers 😀🙏🙏
Hi. I think was a brand called ALMOND here in Greece. It worked once with a lot of pain ,the other 3 times i have tried the film broke in many pieces. Then i took a gold MAXELL but i couldn't get it right. I thought that it would be as easy as with the CD-R but i was wrong. Anyway the one flashy side CD is much far good than the aluminium tape i used since now.
Yes, it is difficult to unstick the DVD, I tried with a hair dryer, but it didn't work. Thank you for sharing your experience. If you succeed, please let us know 😀🙏🙏
Amazing work mate I really appreciate answering my question about which wood you use. Top man now please I was wondering if you can share a link of which epoxy you use or the name of it you inspired me to try to make my own lures. Thanks very much.
Oh yes of course, I use envirotex resin. I couldn't find it on Ebay, but I found it on this site www.tinyworlds.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=Envirotex
It all depends on the density of the wood. I drew a table, a template. It's not quite right, but it's okay. Let's say for a linden on 40g of wood I set a weight of 50g so that the lures are on the verge of sinking. 😀🙏
CD foil in water gives very nice reflections, something like realistic fish scales. Aluminum tape is the easiest way to peel off the foil from the CD. Thank you for watching 😀🙏 Did you ask me that? Maybe I translated it wrong, please repeat the question and explain it to me 😀😀🙏
