The kittens got their first look upstairs about a week earlier. This time it's the puppies' turn to check out more of the house. They needed to be a bit more potty trained.

Are daschaunds good doggies? I mean, I know, of course they are. Somebody told me they can be high strung and separation anxiety is a common problem, and that they will dig up your house if they are bored or anxious. At some point, I am going to be a dog owner again, and I prefer small dogs. So, am I really curious to know, are they good pets or are they really difficult to manage?
I have two and they are wonderful! No destruction at all. No anxiety. They do have a favorite person (me) and they let you know, but they love everyone in their world from my two teenagers to my 2 year old nephew. They’ve got the best personalities. We did start obedience training (positive reinforcement methods) the day they came home.
I am biased, dachshunds are my favorite breed. They can be stubborn, so training helps, but is honestly necessary for any dog breed. I've found them to be very loving and loyal companions. Hope you find the best fit for your family!
