What a beauty.

I've had several (mostly gifted to me) and I need another in my life. My last beloved lived 23 years...yes she did! She passed peacefully in her sleep in her cozy bed and I miss them all terribly. I now have 2 other dogs but still yearn for a sweet dachshund 😢

@1:05 The reason he rolls around in the 💩is most probably because you wash him. It's a vicious circle: dogs don't like to be washed, so they roll around in the 💩which will lead you to wash him again.

The way you lifted Mac off the ground (when you came in the door) could be stressful on his back. Believe me you do not want a dachshund with back problems. To clarify, we owned a full sized, Dachshund. Not sure of the weight difference between a mini dachshund and the larger deluxe model!
