How low, from the bottow plate, can it come down? Would be interested to know if it can get low enough to crimp 2" shortshells. Disreguard. Demonstrated the solution @6:30.
Lol …down the rabbit hole… it is a nice little drill press though fits on the bench nice…. Let me know how that role crimper works from the TRN. THANKS
That press could give you a manicure to the second knuckle at the same time. To unstable on my feet now adays to use a belt driven machine without a cover.
The drill press has no manufacture name on it but I got it off eBay oh you have to do is put in mini drill press. I will be loading some Russian slugs soon
Sweet! I bought a vintage craftsman press for $8 at a thrift store that clamps a drill in place. It works great but I have to mess with getting the drill level. I have a 4 pin roller. Works great on my 10 gauge loads.
I also load 10 gauge I think my roll crimper is from precision. I think it only has two pins but it works great. I’ve seen those clamp on drills I think it should work pretty good
Cute 🥰 little drill press. But it sounds like the motor was dragging down when you put the pressure to it. Let us know in six months how it is holding up.
Waiting for mine to come in now. I was using a drill attachment type drill press it was kind of hokey and kind of pulled off to one side so it was really hard to keep level pressure really looking forward to this thank you for posting your video and leaving info. BTW, where do you get the russian roll crimper?
