So this week I take the Rut Mfg mini disk mulcher for a spin. So far I really like it, for a cheap forestry mulcher for a small excavator it really does a nice job. I'm running it on a John Deere 35C mini excavator

Do you have to hold the thumb button down continuously to power cutting head?

Mine has a foot pedal for the thumb, but yes you have to keep it down

I'm defiantly happy with it, its been a good money maker. I would guess I have around 100 hours on it. I need to spend more time marketing for using it
